Hi first. Should I start flushing? Or will the buds get even fatter and will the yield increase even more?

I think the truth is between the both side. IMO, this is better to reduce nutrients around 1 week before flushing (like 50% reduce) and after, make 1 week with only water. Cause : 2 weeks of flushing only water seems a little bit too much in most of the case (except if u put too much nutrients in your soil but if u're not stupid this is not the case) Only 2-3 days of flushing only water is not enough, you will feel it in the taste of the final product. We can say : pre-flushing + decent flushing works well Another thing is the difference between mineral & organic nutrients. Mineral nutrients seems take longer to remove, so I advise everyone to use it in the middle of flowering as a "boost" and not at the end. So in the end, it's all a matter of balance.

It absolutely does not remove minerals from the buds.. this is empiracally not true, lol. Extractions likely verified composition with gas chomotography or other methods. some monkey in their basement or garage growing won't be able to discern such things at a molecular level -- i am also just a shaved monkey growing in my basement, lol, but being aware of my physical limitations helps a lot. Our senses show us .01% of the world. you are always, always working with incomplete info if relying purely on your senses. In fact, the "flushed" samples had insignificantly higher Fe and soemthing else if i recall. nothing hinted at a removal of minerals from flower material. this difference was statistically insignificant, though. Which means in this context that the variance was within typical variance expected. which means it is to be ignored and means nothing. The scientific method works. Anecdotal nonsense is trumped by good science every single time.. if science says it is magic, it is magic.

Flushing at the end of a harvest helps remove the nutrients used and provides for a better quality flower. Taste especially. I have tried both ways and I will always flush last two weeks. I would start my flush In your case. It looks like bud has developed, and is possibly fox tailing.

flushing is for extreme problems. It has a use, just not at end of harvest. As Comic the Insult Dog would say, "Flushing is good ... for me to 💩💩💩 on!!" If you don't feel like mixing some nutes the last few days, it also won't impact it much. your canopy should be a bit more lush heading into a 'flush' though.. if you do have a hankering to do it, i'd wait longer than typically suggested for your growing medium. your plant has already sucked the leaves down in a visible manner. does outdoor weed have a problem? cause removing all nutrients from the soil around the plants is not a feasible option. This idea is an oversophistication of hobby growers. I've never met anyone that isn't a hobby gower and most seed producers only use methods that date back to the 1800s, so the whole industry is a bit behind the times, tbh. Not surprising given typical legality of it around world. The point is, people without enough educational background have made a fair share of hypotheses that were never tested. that amounts to guessing. Over time it is inevitable more things like this will be outed as nonsense. Beliefs can be dangerous. popularity of a belief is only slightly correlated to reality, lol. What is popular among the peanut gallery is not a good bar to use in these contexts.

I think i you wait and don't stop feeding you can get 1/3 more yield and better weed beacuse it has more THC. Get yourself a jeweler's loupe to check trichom heads. I say this baby has a few more weeks. How long did she veg, what strain which breeder. Maybe she got stunned and is slower because of that.

Yes it should fatten up. Flushing is your choice, it’s not removing compounds from the plant. Thats been proven untrue. I taper my feeds over 7-10 days from 100% of what I usually give to 30%, then the final 2-3 days I feed just water. A two week flush is insane to me, tho many will tell you otherwise. You’re starving the plant for 25% of its flowering life.
