I fed nutrients instead of water flush to a plant in week 8 of flowering, the plant itself is ready to harvest. Should I wait a week to flush or will it be ok to harvest and dry as I do not want to wait much long it as the plant is in the perfect sweet spot to harvest.

As you're using organic nutrients. Flushes Period are not needed buddy. Had a look at your diary. Very nice plant. I did see your ml/l is high. If you feel she's ready. Give her a heavy feed of water. And leave under light for a few hours. This will draw as much moisture into your bud as possible. Therefore increasing your drying time..especially helpful if you're in hot environment or out of the optimal 20c for drying. Shes very ripe looking. Good harvesting.

flushes aren't needed. "organic", as used in agriculure/horticulture, is a marketing term and not related to specific causality. it doesn't change the molecular makeup of the flower. you are fine. flushing is for major catastrophes invovling drastic pH swings or whacky nutrient build up etc. it's a tool that has a use. that use does not involve harvesting. Do people flush the earth of all nutrients around pot plants in a field? LOL. That's not how cell differentiation works. Sex organs have a specific function and it doesn't involve being a storage facility for minerals.

Chop away.... there are the "purists" who will tell you a 2 week flush is required... other will tell you a week.... others will say it doesn't matter.... Unless you have SUPER sensitive taste buds, you're not going to be able to tell the difference. For a really smooth smoke, just make sure she's dried as long and as slowly as you can manage (ideal conditions are 60F, 60 humidity, total darkness, fan gently blowing AROUND the buds not at them).... and then make sure you cure her long and properly... Good luck!
