Soil grows tend to be slower. Peat and coco and water grows are much quicker. If you find good diaries like some of mine., they show exactly how to grow with ph levels, and feeding levels from day 1 and even buffering the substrate for proper ph before planting. Anyway you decide, it becomes very rewarding

depend on your growing style. I like a lot of set it and forget options, so soil "living soil not soilless potting mixes" and dry amendments work well for me, I only add in PH'd water and fertilize once every 3 to 4 weeks. hydro style growing is anything that is not soil. Be it a nutrientless medium like coir or peat or a nutrient bath like RDWC/DWC, I find its a bit more tricky in getting the feeding ratios/ph right or finding a line of fertilizers that work nice. Once you do find it, it can be easy as pie as well. With this style of growing you aim to control almost all inputs, macro and micro nutrients, if any are lacking it can not pick them up from the medium as you need to add everything to it. unlike soil that can be fortified to house all the micros it will need. If you like playing wizard and using 2-8 bottles of nutrients go hydro and see how it goes. Good Luck!

For growing Gorilla Cookies Auto, there are different substrate options: Soil: Provides nutrients and retains moisture. Coco: Lightweight, retains moisture well, and requires additional nutrients. Hydroponics: Allows precise control of nutrients but requires additional equipment and knowledge. Cannabis-specific substrates: Designed for cannabis cultivation and may contain ingredients like coco, peat, and perlite. The choice of substrate depends on availability, grower experience, and individual preferences. Research and choose the most suitable one for your needs, and follow specific cultivation recommendations. I hope this is helpful.

If you need help let me know. There is for like of Biobizz all mix. That'll get you as near as late veg. And then at some stage nutrients, especially cal/mag needs independent applications. All will. Plagron have good mixes. And then their terra nutrients or if you wanna go with their pro mix (like a light mix with worm castings, 'helps early development) you can use the Alga Grow/Bloom natural box comes with green sensation and power roots and Vita Race that'll all benefit you with your auto grow. All natural. Good Growing

Doesn't really matter. If you're only starting. Id suggest a quick fix substrate. So, either coco (which can be very demanding feed wise) so, a light mix soil will be good. Feed water water feed water water that that would what a wk will look like. It really does come down to growers needs and limitations. Along those lines.
