Can't tell what's going on here, Initially thought this was due to overwatering but have left the pot to dry for 5 days and the topsoil down 2-3 inches is bone dry. This is an autoflower, day 24 Tent temp 79f humidity 55% light 26 inches from top of canopy set to 200 watts

I know a few of you expressed concern of nitrogen toxicity. However, as i mix my own soil for years using compost and organic amendments it seemed hard to believe, I did however use less perlite with this batch of soil accidentally.. and once realizing this I was certain this had to be related to moisture retention / plant transpiration even thought the pot felt pretty dry and light, after increasing airflow with fans blowing directly on the plants at high speed and waiting a few days here.. the plants back to being perky and growing/stretching just fine.

Extreme nitrogen toxicity from feeding too much, too often............ or both. Nothing to do with watering.

nitrogen toxicity. waiting 5 days, with fully soaked pots and such size of plant, when plant in mini shock or lock out - can be way too little, only lifting pots and understanding of real weight will determine is it a right time for watering or not. top soil can dry out, but rest is not consumed. if they were in lock out it could take up to 10-12 days. find a way to understand when to water by actual weight and put girls on phed plain water diet for 2-3 weeks.

The goal is to be watering your plants every 2-3 days. If it needs longer to dry out you should be giving less water at a time. If it’s drying out too quickly it should get more water at a time
