If you have no choice but to use that plant, by all mean attempt to clone it brother. The longer it has been in the flowering stage the harder it will be to transition back into a vegetative stage. I would recommend you turn the cloning lights on for 24/7 until it takes root and begins to grow.

I don't recommend that you take clones from blooming plants because it's jeopardizing the original plant. but its doable and you can force the clones back into veg (I believe, but I have never tried it myself) Good luck with the rest of your grow

Suerte

anything with a growth tip should be able to clone.. it does reduce probabily, so you just take a few extra to be safe and throw out the excess later. you can re-vege a plant in the pot, if you leave some growth tips and change back to vege light cycle. so, there's not cutoff point where you cannot clone it... it just gets more difficult. do expect some crazy growth when it does start vege'ing again... excess branching will need to be pruned off.

I don;t know if I fully understand the question. I think your asking is it ok to take clones from smaller branches that are all ready in flower? If so, yes you can take clones from a flowering plant, its not the best idea as it can shock it, more ideal is clones when it is vegging. The clones you do take in flower will need more time to reveg. This process causes some weird growth on the plant but it can be trimmed back once it settles into its new form. Make sure to give them 14+ hours of light to make it reveg. Alternatively you can try and let it develop roots while under the flower photoperiod of 12/12 then once roots established switch to 18.6 and reveg it. This is a bit less shock to the plant but will take longer overall. Good pick of seeds on Humboldt Seed Org. I liked their stuff. I guy a raspberry diesel from them and all the seeds failed so was upset about it but still have a few of their other genetics. Good Luck!
