you are watering wrong. this will cause issues over time. possibly why your runoff is nuts.
possible your formula is out of balance too, but impossible to know if watering with bad habits. possibly more than 1 thing wrong here.
water until entire thing is wet... if the pot is way too large for the plant, you can water a smaller area around plant, but make sure it gets wet all the way down to the bottom. you don't 'up' the water you give... you water the substrate until it is consistent. wait for it to be drunk, then repeat.
if soil, wait for top 1" to dry. because coco doesn't hold as much water per volume, you want to do ti a bit earlier - when color starts to change.
if soilless get 10% runoff religiously. if you do this, buildup is never theissue. only formula adjustments are needed, and changeover in substrate if fast without a flush. simply get a bit extra runoff for a couple cycles.
in soil, runoff is ok, but you want to limit it unless you've been overfeeding and need to dial back. runoff is just wasted nutes, but being certain you didn't levave any dry pockets in substrate is more important than 5 cents of fertilizers lost.
what may be fine over 2-4 weeks may not be fine after 8-10... slow buildups require small adjustments. faster buildups require a bigger reaction. taking notes over time helps make a more educated guess on this stuff. just trying to match metabolic rate of plant.. anything above will eventually cause a toxicity over time -- even if plant can mitigate a small overage for a very long time. in soil it's a bit murkier, but same things must average out over time -- law of conservation of mass... between the carbon from atmosphere and your ferts, that's what makes up growth (added mass on plant). no spontaneous manifestation is occurring :P we proved that false in the 1800s?
you have other sings of over feeding. so reduce concentration or reduce frequency or any combination of the two... how long have you been feeding at this rate? if short period of time, make a bigger adjustment.. if long period, small adjustmeent is all you need, though maybe dial a bit more intiially to get it back to a better equilibrium.
