I’m about to harvest my grow. I’ve got a shed and an oscillating fan. I’m not buyin any equipment. :)Currently humidity is 80% I’m thinking of lighting candles in there to try and counter the problem??? Or cut my buds down and dry them in pieces on newspaper? Ideas? Thank u

The humidity for the initial drying process shouldn't go above %60 humidity. I myself set my controllers to %60 for 10 days.

I would use large fan on low indercetly with one as an intake and another is a exhaust if possible. Keep surfaces dry. Wipe down all surfaces after any use with dry cloth . X3 Use fans!!! Ceiling fans, pedestal fans, and other air-moving appliances can help remove excess moisture from the air. Also make sure your harvest has all the large fan leaves off to lower the moisture. Heat them separated and smaller the better. Just be cautious if you have wind blowing directly on them. You'll have smoke the smells like grass literally from being dried too quickly. Good luck

I'm not sure about drying them in pieces on newspaper, never heard of that, but I would say a good beginning is to add more airflow to your shed. Never point the fans directly at the buds when drying them as they can dry too fast, but point it instead at a wall and let the air bounce off of it. Put the fan speed to max, and see what that does for your humidity. If you can, try to make the space the branches are hanging from tighter so that the airflow is more centered around the buds themselves. If you have more fans, set up more fans to increase airflow ^_^ Generally, not always, more airflow = less humidity. Good luck, and congratulations on your harvest!!!
