Trying to figure out what's killing this plant. The leaves started turning yellow, then some started burning up at the ends. Now it's just getting worse by day. Ph hit 8. I brought it down to 5.4, but it keeps going up. It's currently around 6 6. I just removed half the wate

We need way more details then that, fill in the diaries with what you have been doing and then post the question again. The more accurate you are with the diary the easier it will be for someone to help. Ph shouldn't swing that much unless something is very wrong.

Mucha suerte.

Looks like root issues. Possibly rot. Did the old solution stink, roots slimy? The ph being out of line is not helping either. Only root tips need to be in solution about a inch or 2. I keep my vehging ph at 5.8.

I'm sorry to say, they appear to be distressed. It's possible they experienced significant stress. I had a similar experience a couple of weeks ago when I realized my pH was broken, but unfortunately, I found out too late, and my plants died. You can try adding fresh water with root stimulators because it seems like they haven't been taking in any water. Check the pot to confirm if they're absorbing water, and if they are, there's a chance for recovery. However, if they're not taking in water, it may be a sign that they are beyond saving. 😭🙏

Hey man I'd bet that you have a bad case of nutrient burn. Looks like you nuked the roots. My suggestion is to fill up a new reservoir being extremely easy on the nutrients (250ppm) and making sure pH is good. Let it recover and put out some new growth. You should see new root growth in 1-2 days coming from your net pots and then like 3-5 days start seeing some top recovery. Goodluck!

how it progressed, what you are providing in the water nute-wise.. details help. sounds like some shitty hydro nutes that aren't ph-buffered. pH shouldn't swing like that with any reputable hydro nutrient brand. and, it's not new knowledge.. lol.. it's just that pot brands are often started by half-wit monkeys with no experience in agricultural products.... they know they can make a half-assed product, bloat the price, slap a cartoon on it and hobby growers will be creaming themselves over the nonsense marketing claims.
