Anyone have good experience with cover crops such as Alfafa?. How does the nitrogen fixing work? When is it good time to use cover crops? Any specific cover crops you recommend for pest and helping the health of the plant overall.,.

Clover, rye, mustard, beans, kale, are all marvelous ways to set up a cover-crop. Those plants (especially beans, clover, and rye) sequester nitrogen into the soil for your cannabis plants to use later. You can use cover-crops whenever you want.
