Is there a way to lower or slow main cola{growth} to mature, grow even with the lower canopy of leaves which is a 4 1/2 inch difference. Or is it better to harvest top main cola early? If so do i harvest top cola before flush or after a flush? All advice welcomed.thank you.

If you cut the new fan leaves off that are growing out of the top cola it WILL stop the growth and the side branches will catch up I literally just did this to one of my plants

Wouldn't be the first. There's not really a wrong answer here.. if you want to take the top cola off and then let the lower buds ripen more, it's not a risk of any kind. even if you stressed the plant enough to grow nanners, that takes time to occur. it will not grow a nanner that can produce pollen overnight.. probably 5-7 days, minumum? maybe, even longer... i don't thinkn it is likely to make financial sense, but that is not always the determining factor. A few more days of light doesn't cost too much in most cases. It may very slightly raise cost per gram of what you produce, but can be justified with the improved quality of lower buds... it's not going to turn airy buds into dense nugs, but will improve them a bit. Any ripening left to occur would be the room for improvement.
