Absolutely!! they can grow 2-3 times their size in the stretch.. Check out my first grow.. My girls just started stretching also.. If it gets to be a problem you can tie down the larger stems to help flatten out your canopy or a tip i learned cut the fan leaves off the top branch not the new praying one's but the one's that are below it and have flattened out.. it helps slow the growth of that stem so the others can catch up! Happy growing!

I think he's just bragging, how about anyone else? But seriously, if the node spacing isn't stretched, i wouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth, and i'd make sure to have a clone of it for the future. The more you train or spread out growth, the slower it seems, but it really is fast. I only say that if you typically train it more or do other things with larger plants etc etc.

Hi there.. this is most likely the stretch that the plants go through at the beginning of flowering, and that's quite normal. Some strains can even get up to 4 or 5 times their initial size after vegging. That's why it's important to still wait with giving them veg-nutes, until the stretch has finished, so they get sufficient nitrogen. Only after the stretch stopped it's best to switch to bloom-nutrients. happy growing
