Absolutely!! they can grow 2-3 times their size in the stretch.. Check out my first grow.. My girls just started stretching also.. If it gets to be a problem you can tie down the larger stems to help flatten out your canopy or a tip i learned cut the fan leaves off the top branch not the new praying one's but the one's that are below it and have flattened out.. it helps slow the growth of that stem so the others can catch up! But seriously, if the node spacing isn't stretched, i wouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth, and i'd make sure to have a clone of it for the future.
The more you train or spread out growth, the slower it seems, but it really is fast. I only say that if you typically train it more or do other things with larger plants etc etc.

Considering u just started flowering. Yes its completely normal. It's called the flower stretch and some varieties even triple in size. Happy growing fam

Hi there.. this is most likely the stretch that the plants go through at the beginning of flowering, and that's quite normal. Some strains can even get up to 4 or 5 times their initial size after vegging. That's why it's important to still wait with giving them veg-nutes, until the stretch has finished, so they get sufficient nitrogen. Only after the stretch stopped it's best to switch to bloom-nutrients.

Height autoflowersMy white widow auto is now 68 cm - 27 inch. I try to maintain light at 30cm-12 inch but she grows at 20cm-8 inches. what if she grows more and it poses a ploblem with light LED penetration ? Should I do sthing (topping, LST) or it's too late ? And I continue to turn up the light?

Growing to fast?Is there such a thing as the plant growing too fast? It has quadrupled its height in as many days causing it to sort of flop to the side. The leaves are getting bigger but nowhere near the rate that it's growing taller. Is this normal for strawberry cough? #newtothis

Plants too tall in back row.The plant's in the back row are too tall.
We cut the tops of the trellis boxes off about 18 inches.
Even with LST I still think they're too tall.
With the plants in pre-flowering (10 days)
should we cut the top of the plants off or is this a bad choice?

Why is my plant so lanky? how can i get it to fill out more. Week 5I have a plant thats tall and lanky. I definitely over watered it a bit, but for it's height i think something else is off. its on a 22/2 cycle getting about 200 ml feeds every other day. To much stretch can I send her to flowerI've planted a feminized cream and cheese that outside began a bad stretch from poor sunlight. I moved inside put more dirt now again its top is to heavy. Can I start 12 and 12 sending it to flower before it's to big? Its 5 to 6 weeks in veg already.
