Post harvest I want to reuse soil as I have in the past with other plants. I usually shake off soil from the roots. My question is, would it be beneficial to a new plants roots if I were to transplant a 6 week old cultivar into an old pot with a previous cultivar’s root system?

When it omes to cannabis..........new plants, new soil! EVERYTHING is reliant on the quality of the soil....... health, vigor, yield, disease resistance, pest problems, pH, soil salt build up, etc etc, ........everything..............don't skimp with soil, you will only reduce your potential results.

Downgrading roots its the only drawback of reusing soil, off course if no salts build up or pest infestation. So answer is No. Brake , let downgrade, add beneficial bacterias and worm castings after 3-6 month and you ready to go.
