Hi Buddy. To bad to hear of your loss. If there isn't any mold, Yes you can smoke it.
Heat kills most mold spores of a temp over 100 degrees. But don't smoke the mold, it turns into nasty stuff when lit
The spores are in the air and do land on the plants but need special circumstance to germinate.
Lots of air movement, a rh of 60% and below is recommended and it's calcium uptake that helps the plants ward off mold.

all plant is infected, its recomended to chuck away all, you dont know whats inside of each bud part, infection could be already forming.
if few buds i was chopping heavy down, even healthy part out and keeping rest.
more i see or read now - think all plant has to go ... sad, but thats right way for your own health.

Yes, I evenv smoked a bud with little mould, after cleaning it and kept it vacuum-packed with H control for 3-4 weeks (alone of course)

Amputate around it.. hope for the best.. but even if you can't see it, you'll probably be smoking mold. It's been spreading for a while if it's that pervasive.
is it safe to smoke? it's not going to kill you. Probably cough more. Have a bit more congestion between smoke sessions etc... Won't taste as good etc.. . you've done it before for sure without knowing if you ever bought off black market before.

I'm not sure if mouldy buds are similar to mouldy cheese. Mouldy cheese if you see a little on the wedge they say the entire mass is infected with it. If years past i ran into mould a few times in my coke can sized kolas. I just picked it away from the healthy stuff and tossed it. Anything that looked good got tossed in the pile with the rest of the good bud.

Prioritise mature buds, vs the younguns? Bare in mind I HAVE a 85w (To my 125w in use) - It's just not mounted yet, and economically dont know if I shI have plants germ' at the same time but in different stages of life.Is it recommended to decrease to 10 hours Light (125w LED - IR/UV/Full Spectrum) JUST for the 4 plants that are ready, which'll weaken the younguns. Getting better yields from small plantsShe's well into flower but in my opinion, she's too short for it. What can I do to make the flowering process go as well as possible considering her short 15cm stature?
The side nodes are barely 5cm tall and are already flowering. With no new leaves growing it might get rough.

Budrot on previosly repaired broken branch, next steps?I snapped a branch about a week ago. Today i did a close inspection and spotted bud rot at its top site, so i removed the branch and inspected the rest of the bud sites on the plant. It doesnt seem to have spread. Would you stop feeding the plants with fertilizer at this point already? I think it will be fine for the Northern Lights and the Purple Queen but may be a little early for the Dance World. Little disadvantage with one common pot that I can only treat all plants the same way..
