I have a question about hydroponics. Can anyone tell me if it is normal for white flakes to form in the water with hydroponics? They stick to the wall of the bucket and to the roots. They fall off when take out the net pot. Is it mould or is it from the fertilizer? 😰

Hello community! I broke 2 branches this week. The first one happened by accident when I was draining the runoff, and the other when I was bending it.And today I came across a video where the author explains that silica can cause brittleness of branches. Does anyone have experience with silica and have you experienced anything like this? I add potassium silicate with each watering, at a concentration of 15ppm

Mold on soil I used BioBizz LightMix with Monsterbud Mix from Amnesia and some mycorrhiza in the hole of the seed. 3 seeds after 3 days still not germinated in soil. Had foil on top of the pots for humidity. Probably watered a bit too much. What should I do and will my seeds still germinate?

Nutirents for hard water Question regarding the correct fertilizer amount. Advanced Nutrients. If my water already has a high EC of 0.75 I use less base fertilizer (Bloom A+B). Growth I believe this to be mycorrhizae that was moving between pots I had touching and premoistened. Any second opinions? Doesnt look like mold. Puts off no spores when disturbed. Does not have that mold smell. Anyone else ever see this?

ph problem in coco High growmies, I grow in canna coco and checked my run off today and found 1 girl's ec was way to high so gave her a good flush with PH'd water 5.8.This did the trick and brought the ec back to where I want it but then checked ph and it went up with each flush any idea's ???

Flower N-P-K Is there a good "rule of thumb" N-P-K to start with for flowering? I have a 4-6-3, 3-9-4, and 2-2-2 to mix for various N-P-K's. I'd like to get close to an ideal mix when I top dress in a few weeks. I know fertilizer needs will vary by strain, but I'm interested in a baseline.

change to osmosis water I have discovered that my tap water has an EC of 0.8. this led me to order a reverse osmosis filter, but my question is this: what are peoples opinion on changing from tap water to osmosis water in the middle of a grow?
