Hi all, My 4 weeks old plants in Coco coir are only recieving Hornet Coco feed A + B and even though I hear it's enough from start to finish, I'm not sure if I should be using other nutrients? such as cannazym, bloom boost,Silica, Molasses,Seaweed. Are all a+b nutes the same? Thx

No need more than a A+B formula to acheive flowering , except is the cal mag amount is not high enough , in that case use extra cal/mag. you can use the others bottle you've listed but you can't use them without the A+B formula which is your base.

If its coco specific and provides cal-mag then actually it all you NEED. May not be all you would like and not all two parters are the same but do the same thing.

That's a really good question dude but your gonna inspire a lot of differing answers. Mine.... all the "other" nutrients you listed are supplements to a regular base nute regimen. Think of them as additives to your basic nutrients that the plant will require regardless. If you're growing in coco then any A+B nutrient system should get you from seed to harvest without issue. If you're new to growing I would recommend sticking just to these ones for your first grow and then adding one supplement at a time for each grow thereafter. The reasoning is simple - you need to understand what effect (if any) the additions have on plant growth after you get some experience with deficiencies and recognizing things like nute burn. Not all nutrient (including 2 part A+B systems) are the same but it's not brand that matters. What's important are the various ratios of N-P-K. Nitrogen(N), phosphorous(P) and potassium(K) are the basic nutrient building blocks for any plant supplement system and the ratio between these elements dictates what the supplement should be used for. Example - in early veg. growth cannabis is quite nitrogen hungry so you'll want a nutrient that is high in N (something like an NPK of 5-4-3) whereas in late flower the plants need higher levels of P&K so you'll want almost no N but a lot of K (like an 0-4-8). If you're considering adding any kind of a supplement for a coco medium then the only one you should be looking at is CalMag. Cannabis also consumer calcium and magnesium in abundance so including a regular calmag supplement throughout all stages of the grow can be beneficial. You'll know if you need calmag because the leaves will tend to develop brown rust spots when this nutrient is deficient in the plant. Hope that helps answer your question. For now, I think you're probably good to go👍

Hi dude! I think you are talking about additives and nutrients? well silica is a nutrient to plants but those other are more like additives to boost your plants other needs and yes i think you should use them. Growing in coco you might experience some calcium and/or magnesium deficiencies but that coco feed should have everything nutrient wise. I think seaweed is REALLY good additive 'cos it has NATURAL plant hormones (like auxins, cytokinins and gibberrellins) and your girls love that and also really good food for the beneficial bacteria in your coco. (Atleast my coco coir has added trichoderma bacteria in it) Also those benefficial bacteria is good to add and if you add bacteria molasses are good too! So yes use additives but use them correctly! I use Humic -and fulvic acids, Vitamins and amino acids, seaweed extract, silica and triacontanol. Happy growing!
