My roots are weak and brittle......could it be because of a light leak as I've tried everything else. I am using an rdwc system

Very unlikely that it is a light leak.. If it is you will see Algae inside the tank and/or a build of "matter" inside the reservoirs. Is that grow medium your using brought in from outside? if it is that might be a culprit.. With hydro you wanna start with a clean and sanitized growing medium. If your giving them enough water ( I see this is the second time you've asked a similar question) and the ph is okay.. My best guess would be that you have something in your medium that's growing and preventing your roots from thriving.. Hydroguard or a product like UC roots might help combat that.

I work with RDWC Increase your water level or pour water into the top every couple hours if the roots are not submerged into the water. The Roots are probably too dry.
