if anything is drastically off, could be that... assume 100% soluble, 100% plant-ready nutes. 5.8-6.2 is a good pH range. You dip to 5.5 or much below that and you end up with Ca-availability issues.. which then peopel dump more Ca in, which can have a domino effect on something else... can get messy. Don't dip much lower. See mulder's chart for inter-molecule effects on availability.. somteimes adding more of 1 thing requires more other something else.. or could impede yet another thing.. it's a web of interrelationships.
