Fasciation, good or bad?

MovingOn
MovingOnstarted grow question 5 years ago
I found out my double bud/wide stem mutation is called "fasciation". It can be caused by many factors. I've not found scientific evidence on whether this is bad to keep or not. Does anyone have scientific proof on whether this is safe to leave on? No opinions, just facts please.

The only negative to it is the bud is more work trimming. Nothing about it is going to harm you or the plant.

I have one of these two. It grew weirdly. like it was two stems into one and you could see it was twice the width. I have no Scientific Proof to verify that this is kind of cool and awesome but I think it is. Mine is roughly half the size of a Tennis ball and Iv'e been keeping an eye on it and it seems to be doing fine and plumping up. I'm definitely keeping mine unless I see signs of mould then off it goes.
