PGR? A lot of growers on here are going to hate the thought of even using PGR’s but the fact is on today’s market, the is a huge market for PGR cannabis hence Most of the Cali weed we are seeing. Never used it before was wondering anybody on here knows more about it?

Actually if kelp was labelled as a PGR that would be terrible.

Kelp is so loaded with PGR's in fact that the EPA is currently assessing whether to officially call it a PGR or a plant vitamin hormone. If it was officially made a PGR can you imagine the fuss it would cause in the cannabis growing community. I think it would be a good thing as the perception about PGR's has become skewed.

Kelp is loaded with PGR's and is completely natural. Triacontanol is in alfalfa teas and is another natural PGR. There are good PGR's that promote total plant growth and there are bad PGR's which will give you fast tight nugs that smoke like absolute garbage.

You ask a question you already clearly know the answer too. Any fool with google search engine can see the different arguments to the pros v cons. Simple answer would be if you think the only way to get big bud is to use pgr then your growing wrong in the first place. The fact you think all other forms are organic kind of shows you haven’t taken the time to look at real grow methods. I.e the kind that don’t give cancer, just top quality.

Since it can effect Quality as well as taste. I would say this is a terrible thing to do but I won't be the one smoking your weed so I guess it's up to you. "Besides being potentially dangerous for human consumption, synthetic plant growth regulators also affect the quality of the plant being grown. Some of the most common synthetic PGRs and their effects are listed below." https://potguide.com/blog/article/plant-growth-regulators-cannabis/

Chemical pgr's are shit and any grower that is growing buds with it and passing it on to people to smoke is pretty careless in my opinion. Get your grow room dialed in, get your technique down and there is no need for any dangerous chemical hormones.

@Staypiffin without going into the whole Pgr thing I'll just say that Plant growth regulators contain known carcogenic ingrediants that can cause cancer as stated by many health organisations Stay Clear of them and any weed grown with them . Note there are many natural pgr's but these arent the ones unscrupulous growers are using

Anybody who’s against using it, please keep your opinions to yourself. Nobody wants to buy your shit organic weed that you struggle to get more than £125 a oz for
