side branching on manifolds mains

Stoned_treesstarted grow question 5 years ago
Hi guys, Just a quick one regarding side branches. setup my manifold with 8 mains, but theres quite a bit of side branching occuring off these mains. Should I leave them or remove them? Beneficial or harmful to yield? More colas should mean more bud I'm guessing.

Hi @Stoned_trees. I think leaving them will be beneficial for production, they are all level, I don't see why cutting the side branches, in the future you do some defoliation. they look great. good luck mate 💪🙏👍

I have mainlined, and it is up to you, as cutting side branches, focuses all its energy on the main cola/stalk. IMO, Do you want a little fatter main colas, or do you like more popcorn to go with those slightly smaller colas?

@Stoned_trees Hi mate I hope you are well Ive never done a manifold type grow but I would imagine leaving as many potential bud sites on the plant would be of benefit 👍
