Do you think my mothers could be getting too big in this setup? Will they stretch because they have alot of fresh soil now or not since theire old alr.?

I just transplanted each of these 4 mothers into 40l pots, i am planning to let them flower in 2-3 days. I am thinking if the pots might have been too big for these plants, do you think they will still stretch a lot bcs of the new soil despite being "old" already Tent = 2m high

In 2-3 days the roots havent colonized the new pot, fully. Still might cause a little extra growth before vege growth stops in flower phase, but given the timing, i don't think you have to worry about anything crazy. You might not see roots throughout 40L of volume by the end, so it's effect will be limited too. I think you are safe and that the plant will be limited by how much time it has to grow in flower phase and avoid too much extra growth relative to space caused by pot size. The fact they are mature mothers with size that already fills the area of the tent will probably result in some over-crowding regardless of pot size. No biggie. Just prune them to fit. If you think they are too tall to start, prune back a few nodes to reduce height before flip and give 3-5 days to heal, preferably.

They are big. but that's what mother plants do. May need to give them a hard prune and knock them down in size. Using SCROG nets is nice but its more for prepping a nice flowering layout and your not flowering out your mothers you want to keep them in perpetual veg. Can also make clones of the mother and grow them out so they not as lengthy. I would avoid all red lights as they encourage stretching and grow under 6500k daylight white. keeps em more compact.

As others have suggested, throw a scrog net on, try and manipulate the plants to fill as much of the area as possible before you flip to flower, you could easily lower the height of the plants with a scrog net.

I would scrog them out. Branches looks to weak, bottom right is definitely small tp bring many love. Would give 10 days, fill all scrog and then would flip to 12/1

Why in 2-3 days? You just transplanted them. I feel like it takes while for them to fully utilize the next pot. Could start prepping them for a little training in switch to flower in 2 weeks

High Lerome, The plants will start to stretch during the pre-flowering phase. Just flip them first and fill up the SCROG net. And when there are branches growing under the SCROG net (not receiving any light) and when leaves are stacked on eachother blocking airflow you need to cut them off. Next to that they will make a really nice screen of green and will not cause any problems. The plants will not grow a lot bigger because of the larger pots but they will due the pre-flowering phase. Make sure that you water at the outside of the pot to let those roots grow towards the outside for a healthier rootsystem and the most benefit from the larger pots! Happy Growing Buddy! 💚
