Hello! I am a huge fan of URB and came across your diary. I believe the white spots you are seeing on the fabric pots are nothing more than leeched salts from the nutrients and not mold. I get them on my fabric pots as well. Over time, the buildup can cause the fabric to get clogged and the aeration is not as good due to the restricted air flow. I usually replace the pots after several uses since the buildup can get extensive. You can spend the time to soak or wash the pots, but in my experience, it is just easier to buy new fabric pots when the residue becomes a problem. I would also recommend putting something under the fabric pots to help allow the bottom to drain better. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions!

Even my fabric pots show these signs, in my case its always calcium out of my tap water as i don´t use salts while growing organic. So dont worry, shouldn´t be a problem at all.

Fungus or mold will be slimy, salt can be easily wiped with a towel. It's salts left over.

Hi @JackFrost17! These are the nutes leftovers, or so called "salt buildup". Nothing to worry about. They will disappear with a good wash after your harvest. Happy growing!

yeah it's probably salt buildup from fertilizer or calcium from water, saturating the fabric then drying out will make it show up over time. It happens, but normally wouldn't see it when using a conventional pot. It you want just wipe it off with a wet rag. But u don't have to you can leave it to.
