I swear I planted the seeds in the middle. Now they're coming out not centered anymore. How do I fix this?

Unless they're working on their chakra, your plants don't need to be centered.

Just fix it on transplant and it's like it never happened. It'snot a big problem as long as the rootball is not impeded by the wall of the pot. So, as long as it isn't extreme you can ignore it. seed position could be part of it. Seed can be centered but pops open on side and now it's a cm or 2 off in that direction. Not something to be too concerned about. It's a myth that you shoudln't 'transplant' an autoflower. First, what we/you do is 'potting up' and should not involve any stress that shocks the plant. I've done 400-500 up-pots and yet to shock a plant. It simply doesn't happen with an iota of common sense and care while doing it. Don't molest the root ball like some priest alone in a room with a choir boy and it'll be fine. The benefits of a properly sized plant for root development alone is worth it. Avoiding the totally unnecessary complications of watering a small plant in a large pot is worth it. So many negatives from doing it and only a figment of people's imagination why people are hesitant to pot-up an autoflower. Might as well deprive the plant of fertilizer, light, give it ice water, burn the shit out of the lower stem and flush the hell out of the substrate 2 weeks before harvest, if we are going to follow unsubstantiated nonsense.

You can also check my diaries for your next run. I use small germination stations for the first week and then transplant them. Like that they are perfectly centered.

It happens if you let them pre-germinate in a towel or something. The plant is growing in the exact different direction than the root. If you plant them not directly downwards it can happen. They have a sense for where is up and down, but they grow in the exact different direction of the roots and ignore that, till they out the earth. Its the same with all plants, they all behave like that or you soil was to hardened at some points so they changed direction a bit to hit the surface or heavy watering could also reposition the seed, but that can only happen very early, without roots. Just leave it like it is and bend it into the direction u want it to grow in a few weeks. Really nothing to worry about.

Watering could reposition seed. Moist medium first, dig small hole, plant seed, cover , spray on top. That way it will stay in place.

Some people purposely don’t centre the seed to make training a bit easier if it’s an auto in its final pot from start to finish. If you plan on up potting in the future you can make the adjustment when you transplant to bring it back to centre. But I would just accept where it is and live with it. Trying to fix it will probably do more harm than good.
