Hello mate, your genetics says 10-11 weeks so your inside this window, looking your photos i think it's a bit soon for harvest, i see a lot of trichomes traslucid but few amber. I'm sorry to day that the famous dark days before harvest are totally useless. If you want more amber trichomes, give them more days to let continue the maturation process. Good lcuk and happy harvest!

I harvest based on if the strain is Indica, Sativa, or a Balanced hybrid. When the bulbous heads of the trichomes are fully developed but still translucent, plants will produce a "high" and stimulanting effect, less sedative. It is the perfect moment to harvest strong Indica strains. When these bulbous heads turn milky is probably the best moment to harvest most available hybrids. When 70% of these trichome heads are milky and 30% amber, it is the perfect time to harvest mostly Sativa hybrids and long flowering strains (like Haze).

After looking at your diary, you still have 10-14 days to go at least, it is still too early to harvest. Once there are 98-99% brown pistils/hairs, you will be entering the harvest window...........you still have many, many white pistils and mainly clear trichomes that I can see, meaning you still have much ripening to occur............post this question again once you get to that 98-99% brown pistil stage. 2 days of darkness is ghetto science, there is no need to do it...........it is an urban myth with no scientific or biological basis!

I like an early harvest, but usually wait for 'some' amber to show up. Glass vs plastic look is also a good way to perceive it.. glass needs more ripening. smokey and plastic is ready. amber and cloudiness is actually degredation occurring, but the lower portions are always behind the upper portions, so you end up with some amount of amber while trying to maximize entirety.

I agree that it looks to be the start of the harvest window and will probably have the most THC around now. As mentioned, the THC will degrade as the trichs mature. I usually chop when I see amber barely starting.

They're ready but if you leave them a little extra time there's no harm in that either. Just to remind you that amber trichomes have less THC.... Keep the temperature low with low humidity to avoid losing trichomes.
