Plant growing small.

Hi all, for no apparent reason, my plant is growing super small. My TS600 at 30 cm distance should be enough, right? I germinated in Rockwool and now my plant is being top fed for about 12 hours a day (top-fed DWC or Bubbleponics configuration) My roots are white and growing.

This little lady is showing classic signs of overexposure to light. You can tell by the way the edges of the leaves are curling up while the main tip is pointing down—this is a strong indicator that it’s getting a bit too much intensity, which can definitely stunt or slow growth. Your TS600 is a 100W light, and at only 30cm away at full power, it’s likely giving the plant way more light than it needs at this stage. Too much light this early can stress young plants, making them focus more on survival than growth. I’d suggest dimming the light down to about 40% and also raising it to around 60cm from the top of the plant. That should give it a much more comfortable environment, and you’ll likely see it start perking back up within a couple of days. Keep an eye on it, and if the growth takes off again, you’ll know for sure that light stress was the issue!

are the nodes tight and not enough stretch between? if so, you need less light. If they look well-spaced and slightly lengthening over time, you are fine. simple as that. trial and error till you find that goldilocks zone. After that and assuming basic competency any growth pattern variation is likely genetics.

Could be a number of things. 1st one could be your Nutrients, are they made for dwc systems. If not then you will get problems. 2nd could be the rockwool is to wet, looking at your plant she looks over watered. Make sure you have a gap between rockwool and the water. Make sure you have plenty of oxygen in the water, make sure water temp is in range.

if your VPD is ok I think it's the fertilizer, ec1.4 is quiet high for this stage. I hope you make pauses when top-feed her for 12h.
