Hey everyone, does anyone have an idea what they might be missing in this early stage? They were just put in Light Mix a week ago. Maybe pH issues or CalMag? Maybe someone experienced has a tip for me. Thanks in advance…

Hi! A CalMag deficiency is definitely possible, especially in Light Mix when the water is very soft. I would recommend taking a look at the leaves under a microscope as well - there could also be micro mites (e.g. Brevipalpus or other spider mites) involved. They are hardly visible to the naked eye but can cause damage early on. Good luck with the check and get well soon for the plants!

Hey 👋 Your ladies look good. Give them a little CalMag the next time you water, and it will turn out really well. You always have a little spot or lighter areas here and there… don’t stress about it too much 👊 Good luck & happy growing 🍀

Hey! It's always a bit tricky to make an accurate diagnosis without knowing some important details (e.g., pH of the watering, EC value, temperature, etc.). But I'll give it a shot based on what I see: 1. pH: It looks like the pH might not be quite right. If it's too high or too low, important nutrients can get blocked – that's called "nutrient lockout." I would recommend checking your watering and adjusting it to a pH of about 6.2. Especially with LightMix, that's a good value for the plant to absorb everything it needs. 2. CalMag deficiency: If the pH isn't right, it can also cause CalMag issues – and these often show up as spotted or yellowing leaves. If you're watering with very soft water or reverse osmosis water, a little CalMag supplement would definitely be a good idea. 3. Fertilization: You mentioned that you just put the plants in LightMix a week ago. While it's pre-fertilized, it doesn't last very long – after about a week, you should definitely start lightly fertilizing. The girls might simply be hungry. 4. Watering: The plants also look a bit overwatered. Make sure the soil dries out well between watering. Heavy, constantly wet substrate can lead to root problems and slow growth. Sometimes less is really more. 5. Pot size: The proportions look like the pots might be a bit too small for the plants. If the roots don't have enough space, it can restrict growth and cause other problems. You might want to transplant into slightly larger pots soon. Are the roots already coming out of the bottom of the pot? In summary: Check the pH, start with light fertilization, pay attention to the watering amount and frequency, and consider larger pots. They should recover quickly! If you want to go into more detail, feel free to message me. However, I'll need all the data from you to make a detailed diagnosis. Best regards, MistaOC

They look great, don't stress too much about perfectionism, they'll grow well and still produce a yield... the downward-hanging leaves indicate slight overwatering, and the light discolorations suggest an early CalMag deficiency, but it's not bad yet, just enrich the watering with CalMag for the next few times and it should be fine.
