Unfortunately we had a branch snap off, I've attempted to graft it back on, does anyone know how long it could take to fuse back on ? And what are the chances of it being successful ? Thanks

I use painters tape to mend broken branches. I leave it on for at least a week, then the healing is typically finished. If I have any issues removing the tape, I leave it on til harvest - it won't hurt anything. So far I've always been successful at saving the branch. Good luck! 👍

I've had 2 branches break this season and with tape I repaired them and they healed. Some people apparently grow this way by breaking and fixing. I read recently of binding the broken branch and then pouring a mixture of the gel of the aloe vera plant into the break, aloe has many helpful hormones like growth/rooting. It will at least protect the wound from contamination at least. Happy growing

Hello ! Just a bit of ducktape and it should work.. Or you can cut it and make a clone if you have cloning powder.. Anyway breaking a stem is no bigdeal, your plant will survive ! Hope i helpedyou, good luck!

In wordt case make a fresh cuttling, before she is wilting. looking for a nice part of the stem and cut it fresh with a very sharp and clean blade. if you have cloning gel use it.. if not maybe you have an aloeplant. take a little pot mix in wet soil with the fresh pressed aloe. do some aloepress onto the branch and plant it. put an humidity dome over the pot and plant and lokk daily and keep it humid. you got a good chane it works. if you dont have anything like aloe or clonegel tra it without that you got a 50:50 chance the branch survives. i had the same problem and now i have a little bonsai tree. you can see it in mx stresskiller diary on week 8 i think

I’ve enjoyed success grafting, but I cannot claim credit. Speed is a factor for certain. If you can seal the wound immediately after it occurs you have a much higher rate of success. If the branch has had air in its cell walls and begun to dry out, there is little hope. Pets love cannabis and it’s good for them. Give them their own plant they know is ok to chew, and gently scold them if they’re in your good garden, and return them to their plant. My cats know which plants they can eat and which I don’t permit (separate rooms or they wouldn’t behave). They’re still rascals sometimes but usually good about it. I grow wheat grass and cannabis for them.
