When to turn to flowering?

I'm into around 5-6 weeks of vegetative state for this Purple Haze from Zamnesia seeds. It's my second Photoperiodic grow. So I'm wondering what's the best way to proceed rn. Should I top again the main stems? Should I just do some more lst? When to turn to 12/12?

The plant does look a bit pale, but this is what grow lights do... if you turn off the grow light and use normal room lighting to assess color, i'd wager it's a healthy shade of green. if it's still slightly on pale side and not an ilussion of the grow light, bump N a bit. in some ways this paling effect of grow lights can let you notice chlorosis creeping in a bit sooner. it definitely exaggerates any sort of lighter green color that displays and it'd be much more difficult to see it with normal lighting. And, in the opposite direction, it can be harder to recognize a toxicity developing under grow lights... they don't look as dark as they actually are. Just have to learn how to interpret it under your lights or take a moment to look at them under normal residential lighting levels.

That will probably over-grow the space. When about 1/2 of the area is filled, it's usually safe to flip to flower. It's hard to believe at times, but it will happen. The best way to form a canopy is to have a plan that you worked backward from an end goal.. ~3 colas per sq ft is a good goal. even a bit less is fine and you'll still maximize yield potential of all but the shittiest of phenos growing tiny shit buds which won't yield well, regardless. Can't put lipstick on a pig. ~3 colas per sq ft gives healthy nugs that aren't so large you worry about mold and rot. Automatically allows great light penetration and air flow throughout canopy, which reduces effort and pruning needs. Less cutting shit off = less wasted resources and time. Have a target relative to size of tent.. work backward from that goal to most efficiently train the plant to meet it. Save time. Save effort. Save money. More than one way to get there effectively. it really is hard not to overgrow an area... the anxious motivations and lack of experience makes it a very, very common mistake that some never get past. One of my best grams/sq ft results was 16 colas in 6.25 sq ft... ~2.5 colas per sq ft. Buds were solid top-to-bottom so not a case of measuring from the taint and including larf mass. Easy trim (partly genetics on that).

Judging by the appearance, namely its sizes and sizes of your boxing, it is already necessary to translate to 12/12, because it will still grow on flowering and will be very large. I recommend that now it is translated to avoid problems with excessive growth. And the second point - it seems to me that the plant does not understand fertilizers. Now it is good to give the plant fertilizers in the range of 600-700 PPM. Judging by the size of the bush - there is enough light and it grows well. But judging by the yellow state of the leaves - I think she is not enough for fertilizers. Adjust the number of fertilizers, keep it at the level and no less, and add + 50 PPM every week. Regarding training such as LST topping. Of course, you can still do a lot, for example, you can still expand your plant a little bit of the branches to the sides, in which case you can still wait with flowering for 1-2 weeks and switch to flowering mode after the LST and how all the branches will rest from stress and go up. On the other hand, I see like a well -filled box of boxing. If you want even more a crop, even more plant = do another LST and stretch the branches to the side and then go into flowering mode-in this case, the time to the crop to increase for the time of these training + 1-2-3 weeks. Or start now immediately by switching to 12/12 without additional training, because the space is already filled with good Good harvest 🙌

I personally would not top again. Rather go into 12/12 flower. I prefer my plants on the greener side, but to each their own, and what works for you. Just remember, once you turn to the flower nutrient schedule it will be less N, the plant may turn yellow prematurely.

3 options -24h of darkness before flip then 12/12 (13-17 days) -24h then 6/18 with DLI 70 (8-10 days, no stretching) -just 12/12 (14-18) Don,t do 2nd option if u can,t measure and calculate DLI

Dipende, secondo me quando riesci a riempire in orizzontale tutta, o quasi, la superficie della growbox...almeno finchè l'altezza te lo consenta...ottimo lavoro comunque!

Looking great for ~5–6 weeks of veg 👍 Since Purple Haze is very sativa-dominant, you can expect around 80–100% stretch during the first weeks of flower. I wouldn’t top her again now to avoid unnecessary stress – she’s already nice and bushy. Since LST is off the table, the best move is to flip to 12/12 as soon as you’re comfortable with the height. Better to switch a bit earlier, the stretch will quickly fill the space. 🌱💜 Good grow!
