My Cosmic Gold is a Mephisto cross of 2 strains that are supposed to go 65-70 days each. I accidently stressed it, stunted it and it started flowering a little early. It's now day 50 and I can see amber trichomes at the top. Mostly milky lower.
Thats the first trichome flush coming to an end, you will see phatter more like a clump than single hairs its these you want turning before harvest and she's on time ish by the looks of it.
I can see amber trichomes too , but I can't see a big amber ratio but just a few. It makes me say that if your cross quickest flowering period can be 65 days then you hae that kind of phenotype as it could takes 15 days to get a amber/milky trichomes ratio close to the 50% each but can't be sure .
Hi @bellevegasj all breeders try to create the strains with the fastest flowering possible. they give information on the general behavior of the plants but there are always exceptions, some seeds have more genetics on the side of the cross where flowering is faster. Sometimes they happen to be ready to harvest a few days ahead of schedule. I like to harvest when they are all milky (80% -90%) in general and a few amber. good luck mate 👍
