Hey buddy,
First of all, don’t stress. That concern you’re feeling is actually a good sign that you care and you’re paying attention.
About LST on autoflowers: it’s not something you have to do, and it’s definitely not what determines potency.
Potency is mostly driven by:
• genetics
• overall plant health
• environment (light, stress, nutrition)
LST doesn’t magically increase THC. What it can do is help with light distribution and structure, which sometimes helps yield, but only if the plant is ready for it.
Looking at your plant at day 22, she’s still on the smaller side but trainable. Personally, if this were mine, I’d probably wait a couple more days and see how fast she’s growing. Autos move on their own clock, and timing matters more than technique.
If you do decide to LST:
• Keep it very gentle
• No hard bends
• No topping
• Think “guiding”, not forcing
If you decide not to LST, that’s perfectly fine too, especially in a small tent with multiple plants. You won’t ruin yield or potency by leaving her natural.
With autos, the biggest risk is overdoing it, not underdoing it.
This is just my humble opinion, trust your instincts, watch how fast she’s growing, and choose the option that feels calm, not rushed.
