I'm curious about the general look of my 2 plants for their time. ending week 5/ starting week 6. First 4 pics are "black sugar", the last 2 pics are "white widow". Should the pistils be this color this early? Any herming? Any other very concerning things? Thanks so much!

I agree with Bloombuster on the hairs, they're turning as they're supposed to. You're plants seem to be doing good, they look great! If you feel that the hairs are turning too quickly, it is possible for heat to make them change a little quicker so you might check the light distance and the temp of your room. Other than that, it's probably just fine.

awesome guys, thanks so much for the feedback. this is my third time so i still have a lot to learn. had a bad thrip problem and had to spray with neem a bunch. then had to put it into flower a few days after the last spray and had a lot of leaves/real young bud sites fall off. i knew about haresting by trichome color, but didn't know about water temp affecting the pistil color. i had read that the pistils shouldn't really be changing colors until like week 5 or maybe even 6, and i had a BUNCH change early in week 4. i had heard that pistils changing colors can be a sign that they've been pollinated (and with a hermed GG4 next to it, got me worried i didn't catch it early enough). i use water that's sat for 24 hrs at room temp. really happy to hear you guys don't see signs of herms though, and think things look good. big sigh of relief! thanks again everyone!

You chop by your trichome not your pistols, but if you water your plants with cold water that will make your pistols turn, it's hot so the cold water will help greatly, in winter expose your plants to some cold that will help your plants frost right niceley.

Older hairs turn brown then are replaced by new hair up untill it's about ready to harvest. I see no signs of hermification. Looks happy and healthy! Good stuff! 🤟😜

Бро, оба сорта отлично выглядят! Они все потихоньку созревают и их белые волоски становятся рыжими и коричневыми! Это нормально, всё идет своим чередом! Удачи, бро! 👌😇👍
