Do you have tips for focusing on night shots of outdoor plants?

If you're able to use a DSLR or a phone camera that let's you set the focus to manual mode instead of auto, set it up on a tripod or some other way of stabilizing the camera, then use a low-lumen green light briefly, to get your shot in focus. Use a slow shutter speed with either a remote shutter release or the timer function, to keep the camera from shaking when you click the button to take the picture. Alternatively, and depending on where your plant is located, you could set up a tripod with your camera while there's still enough light, set your zoom and focus, then remove the camera and return when it's dark. As long as the tripod hasn't moved and you haven't adjusted the camera settings, you should be pretty close with your focus, although it may not be perfect. Good luck! :)
