Bubba's Gift is mostly indica cross between Bubba Kush and God's Gift. This is a hardy plant with dark green leaves that show purple hues in the flowering phase when the temperature decreases. The strain has a compact structure and average growth, usually not exceeding 1 m. It grows well in any growing environment, but it has a very strong smell, so you will need carbon filters indoors. You should also monitor the humidity. Bubba's Gift is developing a number of large buds.
The variety has the taste of tropical fruits, with spicy notes. The effect is physical and cerebral, relaxing. It is also good for therapeutic purposes - it helps with loss of appetite and muscle tension. Due to its powerful genetics and effects, it is recommended for experienced smokers.

Bubba's gift had a long time to veg. I gave it all the time needed, strong light, nutrients, fresh air and TLC. Phenotype stayed short with small distorted leaves, thin weak stems and lack pf vigour. After 4 weeks from flip, 2 weeks of flowering, it is time to say goodbye. Main cola is thinner than a tooth pick and top flower will be larfy popcorn. (see pictures) Growing this plant any further is a waste of time, plant count, space, nutrients, time, floor space, watts, etc. I already sits on a few pound of medium grade bad pheno stuff from lazy so-called cannabis breeder.

I had some initial difficulties, but finding the problem the plant was good. Growth has been constant and the flowers are super resinous.

Out of 2 plants one stayed short and just went straight mutant on me. Next to zero buds, but the fan leaves decided to throw some buds. The other plant got marble sized buds that never bulked up. Hope they’re good because their size isnt impressing anyone

In the future I will only breed varieties from regular seed. Through various genetic manipulations it is possible to produce ''female'' cannabis seeds. There are several different methods to produce feminized cannabis seeds, but they all rely on "stressing" a female plant so much that it becomes hermaphroditic and produces pollen that is then used to fertilise another female plant. Feminized seeds produce scientifically correct feminized and not true female plants. This means that they do not produce real female cannabis plants, but from MALE WILL SHEMALE, you could also call it inbreeding and I will avoid such things for my health. If you look at examples of inbreeding it simply cannot be wanted by nature or be good (in this case on the effect and how you are afterwards!) Over the years I have learned that the chemicals used in feminisation are not good for the plants. From the look, the thc content seems to be all good but the high is just shit. One feels more paralyzed than high and I personally find such an effect unpleasant. A nice high for me is a combination of a good cannabinoid profile / a natural original genetics in combination with organic / biological cultivation. Hemp should make life more worth living and not cause that it keeps you from living. I define a beautiful effect as accessible, emotional, active and motivated (of course with the individual strength of the strains).

Growing: Super easy. She flew right past vegetative state without any hiccups; she didn't indicate a single nutrient deficiency despite not being fed. Flowering was fast compared to other grows -- she didn't stretch more than x1.2, and the flowers exploded in size within days. Smell and flavour: Citrus and herbally exotic. Smells like mandarin, cedar, unripe mango, papaya, notes of pineapple and freshly cut herbs. Tastes like cedar, coconut, pineapple, with a pungent aftertaste. Coconut and pineapple sits on the tongue and throat for 10+ minutes. Effect: Jack of all trades. Nice clear head buzz that transitions into a mild body high. A bit psychedelic on high doses. Not energizing enough to get things done; not stupefying enough to couch-lock you in a stupor. Gave me the driest eyes I have ever experienced: at one point I thought my eyes were cracked and lava poured out. Medical: She manages to momentarily clear up my depersonalization disorder, which is a small miracle. Good for reducing stress, anxiety and restlessness. [!] After 2 months of curing [!] Smell is extremely exotic, almost perfume-y. Like all of the jungle fruits imaginable squashed into a single, refined smell. Is so so so good! Effect is no longer jack-of-all traits: it's a mellowing, uplifting high, perfect for wondering and exploring the psychedelic multiverse. Quality high! No longer any paranoia or anxiety when I vape/eat this strain.

I had some medical issues in between and I couldn't really post anything on internets, but my girl was looked after and grew to maturity. It grew for really really long time... by the end the plant started to look wilted, turned all kinds of weird colors, even buds started to turn brown at the very top. It was a very old plant at the time of harvest. Total grow time was about 20 weeks, flipped on day 63 (long veg period), so it was in flowering cycle for 11-12 weeks. During the grow I tried defoliation (3 times actually), but I think I was a bit too aggressive on last defoliation (just when first white hair started to show), because final yield wasn't something to write home about. I got maybe 50g out of that plant. The plant did look good after last defoliation, empty under the net, nice flowery stals above the net with some fan leaves still on, light penetration seemed excelent. But I guess plants do need those green surfaces to harvest energy to do their stuff, so next time I'll tone down on plucking fan leaves a bit. Oh yeah, and this time I let the flowers reach about 20cm above the SCROG net :) After harvesting it took about a week to dray to ~65%, then I put it in opened jar until it reached 62%, stuck some bovedas in there and let it cure for almost a month with frequent burpings. Compared to my first grow, this one gets me even higher. Even though I'm vaping it with pax3 (which is a very slow vape), it packs quite a punch. After on half-chamber I'm usually glued to the couch, crazy munchies and very horny. Seems like this stuff just triggers any addictive behaviors I have :) The need for dopamine, endorphin and serotonin juts spikes :) All-in-all I call this a good grow. Yield was bad, but the product is very good. I also learned a lot experimenting with with defoliation, benes, etc. I never got those brown spots I had on my first grow, and I didn't bother with adding Ca. I even eased off of pH, just letting the plant do what it can with whatever pH resulted from adding nutes to my tap water (aired over night). Maybe this also had impact on yield... can't really tell because I tried too many new stuff at once. Sorry for lack of pictures... I wasn't really able to take nice photos, and guys that took care of my plants couldn't be bothered with it. Thanks to HSO for this great strain, it's a pleasure to smoke it in the evenings or on very slow days.

I am a noob for sure. I think this plant would have done a hell of a lot better if I knew what I was initially doing. The pH just wasn't right for most of its life cycle. I'm hoping that my shipment of Advanced Nutrients will help me hit that sweet spot with my new babies. 😎🤙 Thank you for the communities help. Without it I would have killed my first two plants LOL
