Mass Medical Strains

This plant was very odd right out of the gate and so was the star pupil from this breeder. Very short, bushy plant that did not grow much at all until it went into flower. The aphids may have stunted them a bit but my other plants grew while this one did not. She also started foxtailing in flower and I’m not sure if is the genetics or the stress from the aphids. Probably won’t grow this breeders strains again.

The purple pheno is a fruity but mellow high. Good for relaxing and new smokers. The green pheno packs a punch and goes straight to the membrane, she’s a good morning smoke if your day is slow.

This is just like the weed I smoked in high school. No particular smell or taste just weed if you know what I mean. Very dysfunctional trippy dissociative stone that's not sativa or indica dominant but definitely intense stuff when you smoke enough. Would be difficult to hold a conversation in higher dose but after a small spliff its pretty relaxing and mellow.

Super volatile flowering times plant-to-plant (60-90?). Pretty sure 2 of the 4 would have taken 2-4 more weeks than what i allowed. The other 2 weren't more than a week away, give or take (pictured). Extreme stretching to the point it is an overtly negative trait. Lots of foxtailing occurs. These are reasons why i went with 5/10. This plant may be best outside where 2000PPFD can keep it from being a floppy mess. Definitely need a screen, scrog or 20' if garden wire and some stakes. Between the 1300ish umol/s fc4800 and some 1920umol/s 650watters, there's not much else i could do inside to prevent excessive stretching short of adding co2, controlling temp and RH while testing a slightly higher intensity. It's sticky when breaking it up and fairly strong buzz. Nothing wrong there. Spicy/floral/fragrant/incense type taste and smell. A bit unique but not my cup of tea. It's strong and the flavor is true... definitely a positive trait. My preference here has no impact on the 5/10. Yield isn't as bad as i expected, but it's super larfy buds. While most harvests have some stratificaion in bud quality, this is a high proportion of larfy trash buds. I pruned to 2-3 nodes before flipping light schedule. It will require a second trimming to avoid all the larf or expect to use half your yield making bubble hash, rosin, etc. It's not a production plant... and it's not that special otherwise to outweight all the bad traits on this plant.

This is my second time growing this and its a great mellow hybrid. They all have a funky berry kind of smell with varying levels of fuel mixed in. The super frosty green pheno I ran this round has been the most potent and most stoney with others being a little more clear headed. Overall its a great daily kind of smoke no discomfort and gives you just what you want whether that's every or to just sit back and relax.

Fruity with a hint of lavender and lacquer. Usually not that into more hybrid or indica leaning strains but this ones great. Tasty smoke with relaxing body effect but not too sleepy. Great bag appeal as well.

Planted this seed late so was pretty underdeveloped with pretty average smoke

Great uplifting effect leaning more on the sativa side. Nose and flavor are mellow, more on the herby plant end but the high is great. Two very different Phenos one a lot stronger than the other as you'd probably imagine haha

Strong uplifting smoke. Can get intense if you smoke too much but generally pretty chill. Great orangey grapefruit terps that come through with a bit of spice on the smoke.

Will update once the bud is dried and cured. ~6 weeks. I'm a strong believer in 5 week cures. 4 is just not enough for me. 5 is when a noticeable difference is smoothness occurs for my preference

Wow. Mms got a new fan. The bud is one of the most unique I've ever smelled. Smells like orange fanta mixed with sprite and pine sol with a sour finish. I love citrus so this could be one of my favorites. The smoke is very uplifting. Feels like a strong sativa. No complaints. Now one could argue that some of the buds were on the smaller size on the non apical branches. I think if I grew it again I would be able to train it better. defoliating and topping this strain is KEY. Will be growing again. I got some absolutely beautiful phenos. I unfortunately lost all the photos.

Grow conclusion: Growing her was pretty easy, the only real problem I had with her was due to pH fluctuation, but she grew healthy. Very bushy at first, I had a hard time spreading her out to get light into the bottom growth, it was only after the flip to flower and the stretch that allowed me to open her up into the Scrog net. I felt a bit down being forced to harvest her at Day 50 of flower, but the other plant in the tent finished super early (ready at 46F), buds were quite small but very dense and had plenty of frost, showing 100% cloudy trichomes. I did find a few nanners way late into flowering, I simply plucked them out and havn't found any seeds. I popped a 2nd Katsu Pupil seed for the next run as I really want to take her the full 8-10 weeks! Test report: Flavor and taste wise, she has a somewhat sweet and touch sour smell with some sort of cantaloupe/melon fruit front-note, very interesting and enjoyable. Effect-wise, she'll relax you but without the couch-lock or sleepiness, you'll get a wave a creativity on top of that. A friend of mine has been loving it for long juggling sessions. I wouldn't recommend this batch for any sleep problems, she'll kind of make your thoughts race, probably due to being harvested too early.

Grow conclusion: Growing her was quite easy (she got overwatered just a smidge mid-flowering) and grew perfectly in the Scrog net, I did not run into bug or mold problems either (even with borderline RH% sometimes). She did end very early as you can see and could have been harvested at day 46! After talking with the breeder, super-early finisher phenos exist but be rare, I suspect the TPS Signal and the addition of the supplemental LED light bar from RapidLED made the process even faster. Thing is, yield suffered a bit because of that: 90g for 2 months of veg isn't great, but the quality of produced flower was amazing! Overall I'm glad kept a few clones of her and still have 2 seeds, I'd totally grow her again! Test report: This PuTang Nevil Chem is such a good strain. The taste and flavor is so interesting, close to a wood lacquer with backnotes of orange tang! Look-wise she's also special, mine turned out a very deep purple and orange hairs. Effect-wise, she makes me happy and feel very uplifted with a quite a heavy sleepyness after a while (I'd imagine that's due to harvesting when she was at ~15% ambers already).
