Northern Cheese Haze is a feminized autoflowering and well-balanced indica/sativa hybrid that has a difficult genetic heritage. Exodus Chees, Northern Lights #5/Haze F2 cutting and Fantasmo Express F4 Regular auto strain were crossed to create it. This is the result of years of experimenting and growing out too many strains.

The time from seedlings to harvest takes only 11-12 weeks. The plant develops a compact structure with small dense buds and grows up to 60-90 cm tall. It has not so much leaves therefore the light penetrates well and you can get a multi-branched plant without too much effort.

The smoke brings enjoyable musky, spicey cheesey fragrances and an effects range from day-dreamy and social to couchlock high.

I really wish the correct strain was in the list ... If I enter a custom strain, it doesn't give credit to Mephisto ... and I think it should, so I chose this as the base. This review is actually for a freebix hybrid ... Sundae Thumper x Northern Cheese Haze. Early in flower, when the smell first came on ... I smelled a bakery ... which led me to the name: Sheet Cake .... Then, later in flower, the sweetness went away ... still had a bakery feel to it, though ... which led me to: Cheese Danish ... When it dried, the purple's really came out strong ... most purple plant I've ever seen (some buds looked almost black) ... so, of course I wanted the name: Purple Haze ... Of course, I didn't expect that to be available ... which led me to: Blurple Haze ... I thought that was a great name ... then I Googled it ... duh, someone already came up with that ... So, I thought, maybe: Blurple Cheese ... or, Blurple Lights ... wanting to give some nod to the parent lineage. I also though that maybe: Blue Cheese Danish would work ... might just be too much of a mouthful, though ... so, back to: Cheese Danish Not sure though ... the smell is mostly "funk" at this point ... appealing funk, but still funk ... What name sings in your head the most out of those? Regardless of the name ... man oh man is this a nice smoke. Strong - both in how it hits and the level of the effects. My last harvest was Pinot Noir ... very good buzz - strongest I'd had at that point ... but this is the first plant that hits me decently with just one hit ... Right now the sweet spot is around 3 tokes (for reference, my favorite dispensary strains hit plenty with one hit, maybe two). As far as growing goes ... EXCELLENT strain ... there really weren't a lot of leaves ... it had a wonderful structure to it. She was topped - and the lower branches grew out pretty far - LST opened everything up very early on - and the minimal fan leaves meant every nuggest was exposed to air and the lights. Awesome stuff ... the yield was nice ... nothing super special - in fact, a bit less than I expected given that the nuggets are pretty dense. It dried very slowly for 2-3 weeks (I trimmed about 2/3 of it after 2 weeks, then got lazy and didn't get around to the last 1/3 until the end of week 3). I keep the humidity steady in the dry room at around 62%. I really can't say enough good things about this strain ... only negative is the smell mostly went away. I'm not sure if that's just what this strain does - or if it's an issue somewhere in my grow process. I will most definitely be growing this again soon (2 cycles from now, probably).

This is afternoon/nightime for most. Great, relaxing stone eventually subsiding into naptime.

Chopped her on 28 January 2019 - 76 day of growing. She give me total 280 g. of dry buds. I made some hash from trim with dry ice method. From 75g of trim there are 0.6g from 75 micron bag, and 12.3g from 160 micron bag.

This NCH auto from Mephisto was one of the easiest strains I've grown to date. The only thing I noticed is that she didn't like too much nitrogen in veg. As far as training goes, I could've done a much better job if there was any space in my tent. She seemed to do great after every bend I did. Was hoping to get 2 ounces off this one and ended up with 51.9g.... so close.

So about a 2 weeks into cure. Not as flavorful as other strains but the savoury cheesiness does come through. Agree with others that this would be great daytime stuff as stone is balanced relaxing but functional.

Great medicine. Very uplifting daytime smoke great for use throughout the day. Taste very much like its name might imply; a floral earthiness with a heavy cheese like overtone when smelling it in the jar. This one benefits from an extended cure.

73 days from seed. She was a slow starter and then took off. Be careful with nitrogen with this strain, she was really sensitive to that. But grew beautifully besides that. Not too leafy or dense so not a lot of defoliating necessary. Starts off as a subtle smell but those ramped up at the end. Crystals like crazy too. Would definitely recommend this to anybody, she was a treat to grow.

She grew very easy and fast compared to many other autos I've ran. She swelled up nicely and put a good layer of trichs on during her last few days. A nice, fast finishing Haze is nice to have in stash!!
