I had the most brilliant moment ever. I ve been setting up the drip system for the first time with the runoff going into the ebb and flood system reservoir. I did not take into the account the syphononing effect of the pumps and that the reservoir water level has to be below the plants. I had two hours to leave for my flight, because I was going on a vacation. So I jumped online and found a way to make pressure regulator from piece of tube and t connector. It did well for the whole 10 days I was away. I'm really proud of my self :))))

Hello,,, fin semaine 6, semaine de 2 floraison. Le plantes se portent super bien malgré le manque de place,, le stretch est vraiment impressionnant, plus de 20cm en 1 semaine! Aujourd’hui j’ai fait une défoliation pour enlever les parties les plus basses qui n’arrivent pas à accéder correctement à la lumière, et j’ai aussi retiré toutes les petites pousses sur les parties basses qui prennent de l’énergie pour rien, pour vraiment essayer de laisser que les fleures exposées à la lumière afin qu’elles puissent bénéficier de toutes l’énergie de la plante et aussi pour limiter le stress sur la plante. Les premières fleures commencent a apparaître tranquillement. J’ai augmenter doucement les nutriments. Pour le moment tous semble aller se dérouler normalement. Encore 5 semaines avant la date prévu. Voilà pour cette semaine. Happy grow... 😎

The prefect plant if you want something fruity with a short flowering time! This plant explodes in thc and even considering she was not in optimal conditions. I had some bugs, trips to be precise, so i applied neem, but the concentration was too high so i burned some leaves and stems 🤦 Finally the yield was highly affected due to the above mentioned, still the buds are amazing, highly covered in snow, specially from the smaller clones i had, the suggestion is to use support to ensure the plant can manage the buds

Light schedule 20 hours on 4 hours off and the same with ventilation. Humidity approx 50 percent, water intake raised up 125 ml per plant per day. Fertilization continues on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with Biobizz family and Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday bat guano and Epsom salt. This week will change the old lamp and replace with Viparspectra 600W. Day 46: I am still waiting for the new lamp. I haven't updated 2 days. They are georgeus flowering nicely. Buds are getting thicker and the purple strains are getting pure Balckberry Kush and LSD-25. Day 47: I palced today the new Viperspectra 600W lamp. I have also changed the light schedule for 18/6.

10/20/2021 - Day 32 - finally some pistils popping. Time to move all these girls to flower nutes. Got a lady bug named Senua to kill all the thrips. It is her sacrifice. 10/25/2021 - Day 37 - she’s finally stretching a bit. Was really crowded for a little bit there. Thrips seemed to have disappeared. Will do a defoliation in a few weeks.

Week 5 flowering (a week is 5 days) I lowered the longer branches trying to give as more light as possible to the plants, correct some top branches direction and defoliate a little bit. Both plants keep developing some beautiful flowers with beautiful hairs and trichomes on buds and leaves. This week I started using Overdrive in my feeding blend. Advanced Nutrients for coco professional program (I calculated EC of every single nutrient and made a custom dosage program for every week according to a more realistic EC value - check nutrients in my diary). Plants are doing well, leaves are beautifully green without signs of nutrients burns, excess or deficiencies. They are watered every day in the morning with fertilized water. My daily routine is to correct the training of the branches, removing unwanted popcorn/bottom growth and removing leaves that covers buds and leaves that don’t perform well (i.e.: leaves at the bottom that will not take light). 🌱

17.01. F15 The plants have now reached a height of around 80 cm, and the stretch is almost finished, slowly coming to an end. Bud production has clearly started, and overall the plants are looking very healthy, strong, and well structured. Over the past days, intensive defoliation and lollipopping has been carried out, but deliberately not all at once. Instead, a small portion is done each day to keep stress levels as low as possible. Due to the heavy branching, a large number of small side shoots had formed, many of which were removed to improve airflow and create a more open plant structure. Overall, the grow continues to run very smoothly and according to plan, once again strongly supported by the Biotabs nutrient system. One major advantage is that no CalMag, no dolomite and no additional corrections are required. Feeding is done strictly according to the Biotabs schedule, otherwise following an “only water” approach – with outstanding results so far. Powdery mildew is still present, but only at a very minimal level. Occasionally, 2–5 affected leaves appear and are removed immediately. In addition, the entire room and the plants are treated twice a week with a water–Purolyt solution. Compared to the previous run, there is a very noticeable improvement, and the effect is clearly visible. At this point, the grow is running fully on track, and the photos and videos speak for themselves.

Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I did some HST bending. The branches are starting to recover and straighten out after the HST now. I still have some issues with pale leaves and a few spots here and there. I’m going to try adding some Dolomite Lime with the next watering and think that should help with the paleness. I’m also going to up the amount of CalMag and Mammoth P to see if that helps with the spotting. I’m not sure if I should see the spotted leaves recover or if the spots will remain. I suspect the spots will remain on the existing leaves regardless of what I do at this point, but hopefully no new spotting will develop. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. Sep 20: Lemon Cream Kush smells great and the buds are looking really nice. Nice big and hard buds covered in white trichomes. Life is good. Did a second flush as the buds need another week and I like how the first flush went. Otherwise just pHed water.
