Day 23 - Annoyingly, one of the main shoots snapped off after I pegged it down. It was fine when I left it, but as it is such a vigorous grower, it snapped off under the pressure of its own growth. All is not lost, as I will top it 4 times instead of my usual 3, to make up for the lost buds. This plant appears to be a BEAST so I think she can take it no problem. I should end up with 24 glorious main colas and a load of b-grade for the hash making pile! I gave her around 2 litres of treated water (see germ page for details). Around 500ml directly into the base of the plant, and the rest spread around the pot. It's important during this late vegging stage to water into the edges of the pot as much as possible, and encourage maximal root spread. Big roots = big fruits She's starting to smell earthy! Day 28 - she doesn't need any water today. The pot is still heavy. She's growing fast, so I'm confident I can top her one more time. I've pegged down 4 of the arms into a circle shape around the edge, and tied two arms together pointing vertically straight up. It should look stunning in a couple of weeks!

Had to cut. Open house through my apartment for 4 hours/day every day basically until it sells. I'm keeping them hanging in the window until the tours come through, then they go in a paper bag in a bin under my bed and I burn incense. It went ok today. I just used a microscope and they're both pretty early. This one has mostly cloudy trichomes with some clear and very few amber. The White Widow has a lot of white hairs that aren't even through growing, and the trichomes aren't really there as much either. Certainly not glowing white with resin. It's a shame I had to cut early but I think it will still be some good smoke as long as I can keep if from going mouldy.

The statistics on Frostbanger indicate 50-day flower. Pics show mostly clear and milky. There are a few with amber trichs and many orange pistils indicating maturation. At least 3 more weeks for maturity on these gals. I continue manual control of the environment and using 3 circulating fans and the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. Before FastBuds announced the strain name and characteristics, I was disappointed that FBA2502 could be an indica sleepy strain but the universe provides what you need at the time. I am continuing with my daily watering routine, watering in the late afternoon after the sun sets. I went through the underside of the GG4 Sherbet FF and removed some shade leaves that were either dead and brown or all yellow, and basically gave the entire plant a good look over to spot any issues that may arise as early as possible. If any issues are identified, it's a lot easier to cure them when they are spotted early! 8/6- We finally have some much needed rain on the way in the way of a tropical system which will be bringing on and off showers beginning tomorrow through the 9th. As a result of this gift from above I will not have to water the rest of this week! 8/8- Well there's three full weeks in flower for the GG4 Sherbet FF and she's continuing on course to be another epic result from FastBuds genetics! The plant grows. I have now added an oxygen pump to the water tank. Let's see what effect that has. You can see the progress every day. I've also bought some phosphoric acid to keep the PH down (hopefully). My water tank is very large, about 75 litres. I also have a few holes in the lid, so a lot of rainwater gets into the tank through this and also through the openings in the pots. Never had to top up the water yet lol. At the end of the fourth week I'm happy with the growth, especially as it's my first plant. -------------------------- Die Pflanze wächst. Ich habe mittlerweile einen Sauerstoffpumpe in den Wassertank gegeben. Mal sehen wie sich das auswirkt. Man sieht den Fortschritt jeden Tag. Ich habe außerdem Phosphorsäure gekauft, um den PH-Wert endllich stabil unten zu halten (hoffentlich). Mein Wassertank ist sehr groß, ca. 75 Liter. Außerdem habe ich ein paar Löcher im Deckel, so dass dadurch und auch durch die Öffnungen in den Töpfen viel Regenwasser in den Tank gelangt. Musste noch nie Wasser nachfüllen lol. Am Ende von der vierten Woche bin ich zufrieden mit dem Wachstum, vor allem da es meine erste Pflanze ist.

This week was officially the start of the grow season. 6 fem seeds were popped using the paper towel and ziplock method. Stepdad said to hang them on the wall and the tap roots would grow straight down, and they did. Planted after 72 hours germ, 100% popped. Blackhack had a 1" root. Seeds were planted into soiless mix in solo cups with drainage holes. Lights arrived this week from CHYYYYYNA. Two 240w lm301h quantum boards will light up these 6 girls. Im hoping to steal a bit of extra light from the 4x8 beside me Just waiting now
