This was my first time growing autos and Sour Stomper didn't disappoint! I nearly killed them with overfeeding but they STILL managed to put on a thick layer of frost and a strong berry scent. Very dense buds and easy to trim.

Ordered a scale the other day so should have some more numbers tomorrow! Not going to sample anything until I get the scale, then I'll update with some more details.

Grow Questions

herewegrowstarted grow question 7 years ago
Each plant seems to be suffering from some sort of deficiency/lockout. I thought the 4AM & 3BOG looked hungry but no improvement after 2 days. Sour Stompers still losing leaves but their buds are MUCH fatter and frosty than the other 2. Maybe just different flowering times.

There seems to be a couple of issues there. On one hand make sure you are not over watering. Secondly, are you measuring the EC/PPM of your feeding? I checked the Organic Bloom you list on your diary and it's very low on phosphorous for a bloom nute, actually it has a lot more Nitrogen. For such a low NPK (3-2-5) you are using a really low dosage. What I see is a serious P-K (phosphorous and Potasium) deficiency and some Nitrogen excess. The chlorosis with rust spots indicates Potassium deficiency. The leaves with dark / black spots, bottom ones drying and withering are symptoms of a serious phosphorous deficiency. Your plants are eating themselves in order to produce flowers.

I'd agree, looks good for their age. They will start blowing up around 5-6 weeks.

It would have been much more easier to find what’s going wrong if you have been more accurate with your watering and feeding schedule. I have read from week 1 , a lot of personal opinions but almost nothing on the watering and feeding days ... maybe except on day 22 and a lil bit later in flowering... My question is, how often do you water them and how many times do you feed them ?

@herewegrow,ok I got it. In soil , it takes 3 weeks to finish all the nutrients. You might be overfeeding your plants by giving too many nutrients. You can follow a Feed Water Water Water Feed WWWF ... schedule and check the ppm’s from the drain on each watering to check ppm’s levels and readjust if needed. One last thing, you must know it takes 3 days for the roots hairs to grow back to absorb nutrients, after being watered. This is why you have known the worst, overfeeding and overwatering brings to nutrients burns and random deficiency, the kind of nightmare for a grower , this is where you get absolutely lost and can’t understand what’s happening. Happy Growing 😉

@JUNGLE_B4RNS, I've been entering my watering volume per 24 hr as well as nutrient ratios since week 3 when I started veg nutes. To be more accurate, should I have also been writing comments on the days I water/feed? I water every 3-4 days and feed every other watering.

All the solutions to your problems seem to cover the issues you have. Hopefully things will pick up and they'll finish normally, good luck ;)

you could try feeding the ones with the deficiency with a foliar spray, depending on for how long are they expected to be in flower more it shouldn't be a problem
