Day 35 of flower. Nothing much has changed from the week before. Did some minor defoliation and watered as usual. We’re on cruise control and just keeping my eye on them daily. 35 days left until harvest! Catch yall on the next update! ✌️🏾

This is the last week before water flush and the harvest. Plants continue in their course. The week plant surprisingly will give some crop but the healthy one is very pretty. From today I started with the water to flush.

She goes fast and good yield, mine was a bit bushy but still the buds underneath were still hard

He hecho una segunda poda de bajos, rellenado tierra y sujetado varías de ellas a sus tutores. Varios días han pasado demasiado frío tras apagarse las luces, nada bueno para ellas, pero he conseguido un mini calefactor cerámico que lo está combatiendo muy bien. Day 60F The PM on the cheese has gotten significantly worse in the last few days. I think it may have something to do with the constant humidity spikes every time I water. I haven’t been running my humidifier at all in flower so maybe it’s having trouble keeping the RH up during lights on. Just another reason to follow a daily watering schedule. The cheese and slurricane look fucking disgusting and I’m starting to doubt that a peroxide wash can totally fix it. It worked well for my outdoor crop so it should be fine but this time there is probably 3x the amount. I’ll make sure to really soak the buds and rinse them off good. Bbb#1 is flopping over like crazy from the weight. Too late to stake it up now so hopefully it holds until next week. Starting to foxtail a bit but nothing too bad. It is now 100% done and ready for chop. Bbb#2 is just getting frostier and frostier by the day. The purple fade is really coming along nicely too. Might reveg. It is now 100% done and ready for harvest. Black garlic #1 is finally filling out! I can’t believe it. Never heard of a plant packing weight on like that in week 8. The breeder did mention that it packs on weight later but I’m stunned. Taking her to 9.5 weeks. Black garlic #2 is looking very average. Average color, average size buds, average frost, average smell, probably an average yield. And it’s starting to get a bit of PM. Overall not happy. Will be taking her to 9.5 weeks. Zkittlez #1 has pleasantly surprised me. It was a bushy runt in veg but came through. It’s the third frostiest in the tent, super dense, stacked tight, smells great and looks great. It’s already got a nice amount of amber so it’s 100% ready for chop. Slurricane #4 looks insanely frosty even under all that PM. If I can’t wash it off it’s going in the trash. I want to chop this asap but have to cut everything at once unfortunately. It’s 100% ready for harvest. Badazz OG cheese is looking like a decent yielder but doesn’t have much else going for it. I think it still has some filling out to do. I can’t even smell the final profile change yet. The leaves are rotting off very quickly. Taking her 9.5 weeks. I don’t mind harvesting a bit later rather than early. From my outdoor experience, when a plant is picked early it smells like hay and wet grass clippings until it’s been curing for 3 weeks. When I harvest late or at 30-50% amber trichomes it smells like same scent profile it had when growing. Just my experience. I’ve read that the tobacco industry adds calcium and potassium carbonate to their crops to help promote fire holding capacity and to increase the whiteness of ash. Turns out some of the organic amendments I bought last week contain exactly that. I’m going to give each plant a light top dress to see if the tobacco industry is onto something.

Not much to report really, everything is in order and on track✅ The tallest plant has grown 16cm end of week 2 so 1 last week of potential stretch at that rate or hopefully less and it should all remain manageable 🤞 Facing some heat issues but it doesn't seem to be stressing my ladies they are loving life right now 🌞 Its been 25celcius here last few days and that translated to 28celcius in the tent🌡️ Gonna steal a few leaves here and there this week but nothing major, I'm happy enough with the canopy and its bud-sites 👌 Buds are developing nicely, hopefully I'll still get some dense nugs even though they are only wearing 6L shoes 👠 In the end though my main goal is clean and tasty smoke and ive been getting some nice fruity smells from the stem rub, especially the Zorro x Zkittlez #1 I'm getting a lot of lemon and lime from her 🍋🍇⛽ As for clean that's on me, in the great debate of flushing I'm all for it. I get that true organics is a different story but in coco which is what I'm using I notice the difference 🥥 I use bottled nutes which aim to be as close to organic as you can get in a bottle, Cellmax Bio always give me nice flavour and I'm just testing Buddha's Tree Organicus now alongside Cellmax Additives but I still always flush 🌊 Well that's all folks 🐰 Thanks for tuning in🙏 One Love💚 Fire Farmer🔥👨‍🌾

8/18 -Both plants just look really healthy and strong. Its funny how much you learn over time. I just looked back to my first grow and boy have I learned. Ive at least tripled the canopy of each plant in comparison to last grow. I really like the FIM method. -Going to increase the water of each feeding by 50 mL. Going to feed today with 600 mL solution and see how the plants respond. Based on past feedings they should respond with only an increase of droop. -Droop scale developed a few weeks ago still holds true today. Its the way I decide if they need a nice watering. -Leaves are looking very healthy. Looks like cream cookies is going to start changing colors soon. Excited 🤩 -Time lapse camera is acting all sorts of wonky. Im hoping the issue corrects itself soon--the time lapses are very informative of growth patterns. 8/20 -Both plants absolutely loving life. Doing really well and looking very healthy. -Every other day watering cycle is working amazingly. -Cream Cookies is really starting to smell wonderful as the trichomes come in. Small amount of orange hairs spotted on some of the canopy buds. -Time lapse camera is not working well--unfortunately 8/22 -Got the time lapse camera working *provisionally* although its still giving me issues. -Cream cookies is really starting to fill out. Most of the branches seem to be "main cola" branches as plant symmetry was broken around week 4. -No visual signs of stress, light burn, nutrient deficiency, of any other issues that might arise. -6.2-6.3 pH has been working wonders, plants really seem to respond well to them. Going to sprout 2 more Cream cookie plants during Week 9. Going to build a plant pot platform that can be raised so the new seedlings are close enough to the light. 8/23 -Some defoliation done on both plants, more-so on Cheese, its realllllllly thicc. Like oh boy so thicc im very excited about Cheese. Im smoking some of last harvests Cheese right now coming off a 2 month cure and OH BOY is it nice. Amps me up even more for harvest in 4 weeks 🤩

Ooooh boy, what an eventful beginning to week 14! I took this beast out of the tent for a reservoir change and noticed that she had a few branches hanging below the canopy in the middle of the plant that had a lot of heat damage. 😩 So that haircut she needed turned into a bit of an amputation... I've never dealt with heat damage before, so I don't know what it does to the quality of the bud, but what I DID know was that if I didn't change something, it certainly wasn't going to get any better. I removed 90% of the heat damaged branches, leaving only the branches that had mild damage to the leaves only. Looking at her, she doesn't look like she's missing much of anything, but what she gained was some more space to breathe and to feel the breeze. 😊 If anyone has dealt with heat damage in the past, I'd love to know what you did about it. Did you keep the buds? Ditch em? Are they safe to smoke? Do you think I did the right thing? Every grow throws me so much more to learn about and so many more opportunities for hands on experience dealing with things that I've only ever read about. It's the freaking tits! ✌️💜🌱

now that the plant has fully recovered it is growing nicely, i will leave it for min. 2 more weeks before I flip to flower. I have decreased light intensity to encourage some stretch.

01/26 No pictures this week because I'm doing multiple days of time lapse photos. Next week should have some yummy vids and photos. Plants have been doing well. Topped all of the plants between 01/20-01/23, except Berry, which will get topped tonight. Berry has had a very strong rebound. Still very pale in comparison, but is showing strong vertical growth. Vigorous growth of lateral shoots in most plants except for one of the WW. (iirc, it's WW 3) The tallest WW with the widest node spacing has had extremely poor lateral growth, even at the topping site. Likely another 2-4 weeks before mothers will be a clone-ready, based on observed growth. I prefer DWC and haven't done soil for a very long time. It's shocking how much slower growth rate is in soil. A good thing in the long run, because pruning a mother plant in hydro is a PITA. At the same time, I want these plants to hurry up so I can toss clones into a SOG test. My plan is to take 2 clones of 4 plants and flower them all in one 14-gallon tote. 01/28 I had some issues with the timelapse because I didn't set the intervalometer correctly and it eventually went weird after running for over 36 hours and started taking pics every 5 minutes. Things have been fixed and I have add a video from 01/24. I am going to trim some fan leaves tonight and decided to flower 2 cuttings each from the two Bananas.
