What a Journey, I enjoyed this "Egghunt " so much Last Decemmber @Silky_smooth, wrote me, if i want to participate into a Challenge called " Egghunt" That means growing a Plant from Seed into 50g Of Soil// Medium That means as much as fit into an Eggshell. So i did not think a lot and said yes. And the " EGGHUNT" begun. I started looking for funny // sweet little Growcontainers, and I found some Fancy ones. Black Sheeps, white Sheeps, ( Eggcups) , and some Tealightholders, one like a Rabbit, and a " Bridge" i filled Soil into the Cups, and Into the Sheepcups were under 10 gram of Soil. The " cups" from the Bridge had 35 g Sooooo... challenge accepted!! In the Beginning it was hard to me not to overwater them.But they Mastered my drownings very well After 14 Days i had to manage the Feeding of the Girls. Until that time they only got Beneficals and the Nutes from the 10g Soil. But i got some help from my Growmies, how to feed them , ( not over and underfeed).....Stoney gave me the Hint for an EC of 1000-1200 And so i did it I mixed bigger amounts of Feedingsolution, and the little Cups were diving into the Feedingsolution daily. I could see they got nice color and look fresh again. The bigger they got, the more they liked to drink Then i switched after 5 Weeks from Vegetation into Floweringmode. So they were diving 2 times in the Day into the Feedingsolution. not every Day, but very often.. From there on, it became much easier to me. Because i could see what they need. And the Fun began. Buds were swelling, and Flowers were smelling. In the last 2 Weeks i topdressed with laygranules, to keep humidity into the Cups Until we reached Today.. So Today i cut them and ooked into the cups, and i got to say,,, i could snot see any sooil, only ROOTS.... Solid , totally woven Roots. Most of the Soil was flushed away from the divings. But Plants looked good until last Day CONCLUSION: I learned so much in this Challenge.I learned so much about Watering/Feeding.. and having Fun on the Little Things I feel like i have Grown, together with my little Plants. I feel very confident to do Soilless/ DWC or any other grow hahaha... I feel like i can grow everything... I hope you had the same Fun like me into that " EGGHUNT" And thank you @Silky_smooth, for asking me to paricipate Legalize that wonderful Plant!!!

Did some minor defoliation, and added final nutes before flush. Although stunted in veg, the outer two smaller plants are flowering well, thickening up, and smelling dank af... the center largest plant is still dealing with some type of deficiency that's been very difficult for me to diagnose. It's still chugging along with lots of bud spots, but the kolas aren't nearly as thick and seem like they might turn out larfy. It's also drinking the same amount of water much more slowly than the other two smaller plants... kinda strange right? Ps. I kinda f-ed up the compost tea and fed it to the plants before knowing it... I let the tea brew for 72 hours and should have stopped at 48 hours... plants didn't seem to mind too much though (I don't think the center plant's deficiencies have anything to do with the overripe tea.) and don't pay any mind to my nute percentages, I can't deal with that rn 😂

🌱Day 72.💚 🌱Day 74.💚 🌱Day 75. Grow rent heat up till 36 degrees each single day. THC mushrooms start get brownish too quick. Turn off light for 48h and get ready for harvest.💚

Grow Diary – The Great Migration 🌱 After a journey longer than a seedling’s first root, the ladies have finally moved into their forever homes. Yes, the final pots. The promised land. The retirement villa. That said… they’re currently still sitting in a cozy little buffer zone of light mix. Why? Because the Brotanics living soil underneath is thicc and I’m not trying to traumatize them with nutrients like it’s boot camp. We ease into things around here. Gentle introductions. Slow handshakes. Roots will eventually venture down into the living soil buffet when they feel brave enough. Until then, no pressure. To keep stress levels low and vibes high, the whole setup is now running on full automatic watering. Living soil stays mostly moist, plants stay mostly happy, and I stay mostly hands-off pretending this was the plan all along. Now we wait, watch, and hope for the best

Incredibly, they both gave almost the same, 70 grams each. good quality but it was below expectations I felt a difference compared to the cars in the first round maybe my fault or genetics 🤔😅🤪

Here we are at the beginning of week 5. All the 6 of the girls are looking well but the cherry cola is the most vigorous out of them all. The little buds are just starting to form and she is still stretching a few centimetres a day, i have a feeling she is going to be a big girl.

Hey guys so here is number 6 looking a little warped . Going see how she takes over next few weeks and decide whether I going to keep or not .

Day 35 Noticed true flowers on 3 of 4 plants. Turned lights up to 100%. 5 or 6 large leaves removed from each during past week. Increased nutes for two feedings during this past week. Photos and video from day 36. Noticed brown spots and tip burn Day 38 on some leaves mid plant on BB2 and GG2. I'm guessing start of Potassium lock out because of too much Cal mag. Flushed all 4 with one gallon each of 6.5 ph water on Day 38 and removed all LST. By Day 40 all new growth was healthy and all were growing quickly. Defoliated BB2 of 8 large fan leaves and a few on the others.

Planted the seed straight into the medium, water was PH’d before given to 6.3 and humidity dome placed over the top.

Week 7 Flower is where everything comes together: weight, density, aroma, and frost. And let me tell you — these girls are absolute monsters. ⸻ 🌱 The State of the Sisters • Pheno #1 – The trailblazer. Her colas are enormous, dense, and sparkling like snowy peaks under the lights. The macro shots reveal a glittering layer of trichomes, covering buds, sugar leaves, and even little fan leaves near the canopy. She’s showing phenomenal resin production, and her pistils are thick and curling. • Pheno #2 – The younger sister, but catching up fast. Her buds are dense and sticky, the frost is appearing more heavily, and every macro shot reveals the same dazzling crystal coverage. She’s slightly behind Pheno #1 in maturity, but don’t be fooled — she’s a true powerhouse in her own right. The smell in the room is so strong that if it weren’t for the carbon filters, we’d probably be calling the fire department thinking someone baked 100 mango pies at once! 😅 I mean the frost on these buds? Looks like Mother Nature had a snow day in the grow tent — pure white crystals everywhere, like the plants are wearing winter coats in July! ❄️ ⸻ 🔬 Trichome Watch – Macro Details Week 7 is all about trichomes. Here’s what we’re seeing and monitoring: • Clear trichomes: Still present, mainly on the lower bud sites, indicating some time left before peak potency. • Cloudy/milky trichomes: The majority of bud surfaces are now showing full milkiness, a sign of peak THC potential. • Amber trichomes: Small percentages on the tips of pistils — this is the first sign of cannabinol conversion, giving the slightly more sedative effect. 🌱 Educational takeaway: Trichome inspection is the golden key to deciding harvest timing. Macro photography helps us see nuances invisible to the naked eye. We’re aiming for a balance: mostly milky with a touch of amber for that perfect Mango Kush high. ⸻ 💧 Feeding & Nutrition At this stage, feeding is minimal but precise — we don’t want to push excess nutrients, only support the plant as it finalizes resin and bud density: • Just water lol the rest they can find in soil and else were Educational takeaway: Week 7 feeding is about support, not growth. The girls have all the energy stored; now we just help them transform it into resin, aroma, and density. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment • Temps: 28–30°C, slightly warmer in the canopy under heavy buds. • Humidity: 50–55% — perfect for trichome development. • CO₂: 620–650 ppm, steady, helping photosynthesis and sugar production. Observation: Trichome production loves a slightly drier mid-to-late flower environment. Water change day .. Drinking. 2000 ml each per day.. So 6 days on the nute change... ******************* 2 Buckets done .. 5 Left . I may leave the caramel cream autos until tomorrow , they are drinking slightly less per day , but the big girls are drinkers for sure .... So getting better at mixing nutes, bought giant bag of disposable droppers, god damn so much easier for me . I have visual impairment, and shaky hands from the brain tumors. The visual impairment is bad, but the shakes come and go . I normally get a few good rips on the Dr Dabber Switch before i start to help. But the mixing went much better . less mess and i simply pitched the pipette after each use . YEs i know wasteful .... but for me , for now its what i have to do. 1 pipette for each nute for each bucket, they are cheap enough. This way not contaminating anything, and at the amount im mixing, 3 mils - 20 mils each . Biggest problem i have, and i guess maybe not a bad problem ... I have 4 girls on one side of the 4x9 tent, and 3 on the other. The four on the one side are all Glue Gelato Autos and my lord I can not get to the back left side bucket at all with the amount of foliage. So moved a bucket to the other side to allow me to drop in a pail to do a siphon out and refill. See pictures... So I am 10000% upgrading to the 13 gallon x 8 fall ponic system after this grow ..... THANK GOD the caramel cream autos are half the size and 1 of the glue gelatos is slightly smaller on the right to allow me to move around the tent slightly, and im a lean dude.... But i am surprised each day when i check the progress just how far they have come for my first try ... Still have low expectationsfor crops and yields , but am loving the time learning and getting to know hydroponics. I TOTALLY get when the OG growers say just listen to them they will tell you what they need, legit all i have done is feed, maintain enviroment and observe. positive i can not make the same moistakes i made so far net time just by learning my lessons and understanding better the purpose for each Nute and how to spot when the plants are asking for them .
