Week one is in the books. I planted them on directly into the substrate 11/28/22 (no germination) out of the 10 I planted 6 of them sprouted up. I'm excited for this grow because I have 3 new strains I have never grown. This is grow #7 for me going on 2 years growing straight with no break. Trichomes: The Frosty Frontier This week, the focus is all about those frosty beauties! • Trichomes are the key indicators of ripeness and cannabinoid production. Watching their progression from clear to cloudy to amber provides the ultimate insight into maturity. • Currently, we’re seeing a fantastic mix of cloudy trichomes with some clear still hanging around – a perfect sign that they’re gearing up for their final push. • Fun fact: Trichomes serve as the plant’s natural defense mechanism, protecting it from UV rays and pests while being our treasure trove for cannabinoids and terpenes. Spectrum Tuning: The Science of Light Light plays a major role in shaping the maturation process, and this week, we’ve dialed in the spectrum for optimal results. Here’s the breakdown: • Whites: Running at 77% to maintain robust overall growth and trichome density. • Deep Reds, Far Reds, and UV: Maxed out at 100% to mimic the end-of-season spectrum, signaling the plants to finish strong. • Deep Reds: Enhance photosynthesis efficiency through the Emerson effect. • Far Reds: Promote stretch and flowering hormone production. • UV: Stimulates trichome production for an extra boost of frost! We’ve also added a timing twist: • Reds & UV start 15 minutes before whites to simulate sunrise. • Reds & UV finish 15 minutes after whites to mimic sunset, creating a more natural light transition. These subtle timing tricks help reduce stress while optimizing light absorption, ensuring every photon counts! 🌞 Environmental Conditions: Precision is Key Here are the dialed-in parameters for the week: • Temps: 26.3°C • RH: 70.1% • CO2: 800 ppm • VPD: 1.03 kPa With these numbers, the ladies are thriving in their sweet spot, absorbing nutrients efficiently while maximizing trichome development. Lighting Power: • Lower layer at 800 PPFD and the upper layer shining bright at 1500 PPFD. The canopy coverage is perfect for even development throughout the garden. D92/F48 - 01/07/23 - 👉👉👉 First Havest, I cutted the main buds and left the others for one more week. This week was pretty stable with no major changes. The plants have stopped growing in height and they're developing more and more buds and trichomes. I only have one issue about leaves yellowing maybe there's a low humidity ratio, but I'm not sure because I do not have a measurer for that. Apart from that, I set the fan ventilator to maximum speed to increase stalks' width. I'm really curious how is gonna be in the next weeks the sight when you open the grow box and see (hopefully) bigger and healthier buds :)

Day 22 - Didnt have a time to make a Day 20 due to my sickness but hey im back guys dont worry ! :) - So at the first point, changed the pH of the water with nutes to 6.3 for better CalMag absorbing - I know very well about light being too close problem, girls are bushy, not very stretchy. Will solve the problem in 5 days (will move them into bigger box) - Applied foliar spray with 1ml/l of CalMag and 1ml/l Rhizo - Deficiency is still spreading throughout the older leaves, i know im losing some leaf mass right now. Trying my best but i cant move the light (problem causer) further... - Going to transplant them to a 10l/2gal pots in 4 days after moving them to a bigger tent. - wishing them ladies all the luck i have to survive the next days without too much burn... Note: If you have some idea how could i dim the light a little, let me know ! :) Day 28 - So, moved them to a bigger box. I finally could. (120x120x200) - Calcium deficiency has spread almost to all plants in the small box but it looks like IT stopped after moving them And moving the Light further, finally... - Light Is now 50cm above the tops which IS appearing to be 17000 Lux (used Phone luxmeter so its probably not perfect) - every 2 days spraying them with 1ml/l calmag And 1ml/l rhizotonic before the nighttime - flushed every plant with 2l nute mix ph 6.0 EC 1.6 due to not buffered Coco coir (really pi**Ing me off). Hopes it made the nutes evenly spread - outflow came 5.8 pH and 1.4 EC - Fimmed at day 25, looks like they didnt noticed much but the lower branches started to grow heavily. (i know i shouldnt due to health of the plants but better than topping right) -wish them luck in next days, theyre not the biggest but they seem very strong (thanks to team Humboldt seeds :)) - if everything goes right from now on ill switch them to 12/12 at the end of week 6

Nichts besonderes! Die Seeds sind gekeimt wie geplant, wurden dann sofort in Steinwolle gesetzt. Nach 3 Tagen in der Steinwolle waren alle Ladies am Tageslicht. Nach nur 2 Tagen in der Steinwolle direkt in coco töpfe 1 l eingesetzt. Klima ist nicht ganz perfekt, bekomme es aber nicht besser für diese Phase hin. Ventilator läuft 24/7, besonders für die kritische Zeit ohne Wärme der HID Lampe arbeite ich in den Wochen 1-5 mit CO2 Bags, da ich wegen dem Klima (draußen 0 Grad) keine direkte Zuluft nutzen kann.

So this week the plants streched like crazy, the NL started to flower too and has actually become taller then the other 2 plants, even though its technically 2 weeks behind. the strange thing is its way more spacious then the packed Diesel.... it'll be fun seeing how they match up in the end! My new fan and dehumidifier solved the RH issue I had and I crushed it down to under 50% now! Things are looking like they're on the right track.....fingers crossed! I wonder if there is anything else I can add , nutrient wise... i know I shouldn't overdo it but I'll play around a bit and see. Got rid of most bigger and medium fan leaves that i felt were blocking the bud-sites from getting light...again, not sure about if I'm going about this the right way, seems counter-intuitive to get rid of so much green but hey ...it helps greatly with lowering humidity and keeps the bottom of the girls nice and ventilated. I actually took off a bit more because it keeps growing shut. Update: got some big bud and overdrive from my local grow shop... I'll give it a try...

Well.. done! 45 grams of dry flowers after trim. Im glad and proud. That was a long way, my first oficial controled grow. Cool. It was 14 days of dry, l have cured it, it smells so good , but that flavor they say.. not yet. The first hit is nice tho. No cof cof, the smoke is so smooth and the effects.. Its not my favorite thing, but at morning works fine. Not the best seeds bank, but was worthy.

This thing was very easy to grow. Liked low PPMs in flower. Around 600 was plenty for her. Will report taste and effects when curing is complete.

Fastbuds #35 Week 14 Harvest I've been looking forward to these beautiful ladies finishing for a while now. From trimming the flowers they are super sticky and dense as could be. Giving off a pungent glue smell with a hint of something sweet. I haven't had the pleasure yet to sample this one but after a little cure time in the jar I bet it'll knock your socks off. Que pasa familia, vamos con la segunda semana de floracion de estas Gorilla Melon feminizadas de fastbuds. Vamos al lío, de las 3 plantas, me quede con 2 por espacio, siempre pongo alguna semilla de más por si no abriese alguna por no perder ese hueco del indoor. Y ya superaron el shock provocado por el mismo trasplante. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 20/22 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨
