SUNDAY 4/28: I plucked off some dead leaves and did some leaf-tucking and a little more training. I have high hopes for these F1's. When I had to remove a bunch of branches that would have produced a quarter pound of bud, it nearly broke my heart, but it looks like I'll still have a good cross-section of the potential genetics resulting from this hybridization.👍 I haven't seen any more nanners in several days now.😷 Daytime temps are still hovering around 87-90f, but I've got them sitting in 70-72f temps for 6 hours of darkness now.😁 I did a little video today and I'll take a few "glamour shots" tomorrow. MONDAY: Today I see a bunch of crispy leaves on several of them..guess I phuktup the PH again because they are getting fed everything they need. I douched everybody with 1/3 gallon including some boomerang, calimag, bembe, bud candy, and terpinator. No time for glamour shots... TUESDAY: Not much time today..just checked timers and temps, and changed out carbon filters. WEDNESDAY: Finally took some photos today after doing a little training. My best plant's leaves got all crispy, but only one one side of the plant..as if it was sprayed with something bad...buds still look yummy. What's really weird is that a Candy Cane, adjacent to that plant also developed the same problem, at the same time...but only on the branches nearest to this plant..(contagion?) THURSDAY: The 'contagion' seems to be spreading through the garden... I'm thinking maybe I completely PHuktup the ph when I added silica last time and didn't correct it?? Not sure...but it's sad..they're all gonna be less than photogenic for the finish... FRIDAY: I plucked some dead leaves and misted everybody with perfectly PH adjusted spring water and increased airflow in the tent. Also decreased the dehumidifier to 45% RH.

I have given the a defoliation at the top and below as in the last week has gone crazy. I have been given most RO water and looks like they can't stop growing. lower the light to around 600 pfd as the tops of the gorilla glue looked burnt. I just have a Strawberry gorilla short maybe something that I have done at the beginning or just genetics as the other is double the size.

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2202 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 1/19- Here we go into Week Four of flower and these testers are ON FIRE!🔥🔥🔥 Both testers are in a flower frenzy and are ready to eat! Today I gave both girls their last top dressing with Down To Earth 4-8-4 Flower Mix at a ratio of 2tbsp/g and Coast of Maine's Stonington Blend 5-2-4 Organic Plant Food at a ratio of 1tbsp/g which I simplified by using 1/3 cup of the 4-8-4 and 1/4 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 4g pot and 3/8 cup of 4-8-4 and 1/8 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 3g pot. After working the amendments into the medium, I watered it in with 1g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. It will take a week for the microbes to begin breaking it down and will last for 3-4 weeks after that which should coincide with them finishing up, or close to it, enabling them to naturally 'flush' themselves out. The #1 tester that has had the weird coloring and leaf texture is a beast @ 26" tall and I'm happy that she's come around! In my experience, more times than not I've had plants with issues when they started and debated yanking them but let them stay and all, and I mean every one, have turned out to be epic. I guess it's just dumb luck, or the fact I hate to kill any plants if I don't have to! 😎💚 The # 2 is doing exceptional as well and is beginning to get some purple coloration of the leaves in her flowers! I've also increased the power to the HLG 650R's the the Trolmaster Hydro X Controller to 75% which has them pulling 990w at the wall and have them hung 32" above canopy. I also starting adding in 4 hours of UVA during the middle of the light cycle for the remainder of flower. I've been monitoring their leaf temperatures and they're running 71-73℉ which is perfect! I have the AutoPilot APC8200 co2 Controller set to 1100ppm with a 100ppm window and the AC Infinity Cloudline T6 controller set to maintain a 74℉ temperature in the tent while the lights are on. 1/21- I'm watering these thirsty girls daily with straight de-chlorinated water ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉ and they're both thriving! The #2 pheno stays in a perpetual state of 'praying'.... a VERY happy girl she is and the #1 is showing signs of purple coloration in her flowers! 1/23- I watered/fed both testers today with 0.75g of de-chlorinated water each with GreenGro's Natures Brix, Granular Myco and Flower Finisher mixed in, after which I added 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses and then ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉. They'll be getting straight water from here moving forward as the medium has enough food in it to support them until they finish. 1/25- Daily watering continued today with both girls receiving 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. OMG they're both looking fantastic with both looking tall and proud with a beautiful purple coloration expressing in their flowers and even into the leaves of the #2! Día de cosecha y la verdad estoy muy contento con lo que veo, son hermosas estas flores y su fragancia exquisita. La planta tuvo una deficiencia de Cal/Mag, la que se corrigió a tiempo pero de igual manera afectó en su crecimiento y rendimiento, más allá de eso estoy feliz por las flores de calidad que tendré para degustar más adelante.

12/25/2023-Germination Day 1 Merry X-mas 2023 I decided to start a run of SolFIre Gardens Hoodz Candyz S1. I am going to do a cup filled with RO water a touch of Hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 24-48 hours until I see tap root then I am going to put it into a rapid rooter.. Tap root Down and put it about 1/4 of the say down the Rapid rooter. I made some modifications to my basket on this run.. I have taken a few Pods that I use for my cloning machine and decided that I am going to try and use them as sure plants, so that I can take my water right up to the bottom of the basket this time and see if these can make my planting more consistent.   12/26/2023-Germination Day 2 Tap root achieved Planting Commencing 12/27/2023-Germination Day 3 Misted the dome lightly misted the rapid rooter and added a little water to the bottom of the pan to encourage root growth to the pan. 12/28/2023-Germination Day 4 Ground Hogs day 12/29/2023- Germination Day 5 She is up, she has broken surface, I misted the root riot, and around the bottom of the tray to try and entice root growth down rapidly. 12/31/2023- Germination Day 6 Ground Hogs Day 1/1/2024-Germination Day 7 HAPPY NEW YEARS!!.. I did it I planned it out so my planting day would fall on New Years and it worked.. Yay!!! 1/2/2024- Germination Day 8 Since the roots are not to the water yet, I am pouring one cup of water lightly on the hydroton around the lady to try and encourage root growth down to the water.. 1/3/2024- Germination Day 9 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. 1/4/2024- Germination Day 10 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. What up fam, weekly update on these ladies. So far they've dealt with the heat like champs. Thankfully I got my AC fixed and it's back up and running. So thank God as we're having a heat wave still with day temps in the high 90's. They're getting fed 16oz of fed daily. It's looking like maybe another week or two before they'll get harvested. . 🌱 Tag 6 Dar die Jungpflanze tatsächlich weiter gewachsen ist, war mir das ein zu starkes Spargeln weshalb ich sie umgepflanzt habe und ein Teil des Stieles nun mit Erde bedeckt ist. Ich habe auf meine große Growlampe gewechselt um weiteres spargeln zu vermeiden. 🌱 Tag 7 Das erste echte Blattpaar entwickelt sich weiter, außerdem habe ich gelernt wie entscheidend das Raumklima für das Boxklima ist. Die Klimawerte sind jetzt im optimalbereich. 🌱 Tag 8 Das erste echte Blattpaar bildet sich weiter aus. Die Box hat weiterhin ein perfektes Klima. 🌱 Tag 9 Es macht mir den Anschein dass die kleine Pflanze den Boost eingelegt hat. Ich lasse jetzt als nächstes den Wasserspeicher leer laufen und bewässere danach von Hand. 🌱 Tag 10 Da an der Oberfläche etwas ausgetrocknete Erde zu sehen war, ist dass das Zeichen gewesen, dass der Wasserspeicher leer gelaufen ist und wurde wie geplant entfernt. Das Loch wurde mit Erde aufgefüllt. 🌱 Tag 11 Die Erde sieht sehr trocken aus doch der Topf ist noch recht schwer für die Größe. Ich denke frühestens morgen sollte der Tag des Gießens gekommen sein. Die kleine entwickelt sich gerade prächtig, ich bin zufrieden. 🌱 Tag 12 Die Pflanze wächst schnell weiter. Ich habe sie nach den Fotos gegossen und mit Bio Gro und CallMag von BioBizz gedüngt. Ich bin mal gespannt, ich habe noch nie nicht eine Pflanze übergossen. Diesmal habe ich mir gedacht weniger ist mehr und die Erdoberfläche vor dem Gießen benetzt.

Day 8 ish all sorts of different sprout rates, looks like the #7 are lagging behind but i know those where the smelliest so mucb worth the wait!

On day 1 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.4 to 6.0. The tallest cola is 5.5" from the light. Lower colas are mostly 9"-10" from the light. On day 2 the reservoirs PH is 6.1. The tallest cola is 5" from the light. Lower colas are mostly 9"-10" from the light. On day 3 I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 6.0 to 6.3. The tallest cola is 4.5" from the light. Lower colas are mostly 8"-10" from the light. I did my last major defoliation in order to bring more light and air flow deeper into the canopy. The plants are progressing as expected. No smell yet and the pistils are showing more each day. On day 4 I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 6.4 to 6.1. My mini dehumidifier was emptied after being 3/4 full after 5 days running. My tallest cola is 4" from the light. Lower colas are mostly 8"-10" from the light. On day 5 I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 6.0 to 6.3. My tallest cola is 3.5" from the light. Lower colas are mostly 8"to 10" from the light. The plants buds are growing in size with more pistils showing every day :) On day 6 the PH of the reservoir is 6.2. My tallest cola is 3.5" from the light. Lower colas are mostly 7"-9" from the light. It looks like the stretch has finally stopped. I experienced a Runaway with my blumat on my right side plant. I reduced the flow of that blumat by 1 carrot and will monitor the situation going forward. After adding my carbon filter to my exhaust I realized it was drawing the heat from my box causing in proper heating. I will try to reduce the air flow of the carbon filter to make it easier to keep the heat in the grow box. On day 7 the PH of the reservoir is 6.2. My tallest cola is 3.25" from the light. Lower colas are mostly 7"-9" from the light. I did one last major defoliation on day 21 of flower to improve airflow and light penetration keeping only the top leaves of each cola.

They seem to be coming along fine, no real PH issues despite reusing old Promix, more low stress training :) ... I may flip in another week or 2..
