After consulting with a few others working with this strain I have seen that they can have quite a stretch and given the time frame with my other project the time is here to switch to flower. So this is day one and when these photos were taken they had just woken up.

Barneys Farm Cookies Kush 7 Weeks of Flowering Completed 29th march 2020 Here we are at the beginning of the eighth week of Flowering for my Barneys Farm Cookies kush Girls. 😀 They are both looking good Phenotype 1 which is the Indica dominant plant has a higher leaf to calyx ratio than her sister the Sativa dominant phenotype number 2 they both have distinct characteristics to each other such as pheno1 has a sweet smell and more stickiness whilst pheno2 has more of an Earthy smell and is clearly the better looking of the two. Both plants have not had anything for the past 3 days due to the fact that it's been very wet here & the relative humidity is almost at 90% at some times during each day. They don't seem to mind not having been fed or watered which is a bonus as adding more moisture to the environment is not Ideal. So far Zero signs of budrot unlike the other strains I have close to maturity which have all shown a little botrytis forming on some buds. This has given me some hope of being able to let both girls grow right thru until optimum maturity, whereas the Jack herer , Red diesel and girl scout cookies will all end up being harvested earlier than i would have preferred. 10/9 First week of flower as they move into it quickly. No real stretch yet but can see the signs. 10/11 Tent has almost been conquered! The clones expand 10/13 Clones doing well moving into full flower have cut out the grow and increased bloom. Giving Kangaroots, recharge, and fish shit intermittently in low doses 10/14 Victory! The tent belongs to the clones now. Bloom schedule for this grow begun, stretch is roaring 10/16 Added cages to all plants and have begun to secure those stretchy arsed main tops. Trying some new things with these to see how well the smaller pot/more plants thing works out. Keeping plants as clear of excess leaves as we can

We've made it to the end of week 7! I am honestly impressed with what I've been able to do during my first grow as an adult. I never imagined some of these plants would look so great! GDP is easily the best looking but most all of my plants look amazing. As I enter week 8, I will be checking trichomes on 3/4 of the tent. the saliva on the right side of the tent are still very early and have lots of white pistils so im thinking at least two more weeks for them. I anticipate some chopping will occur between now and next Monday and if not, the days following for sure. Can't wait to share the next update! Happy 420

Temps at 78-84 f, humidity inside dome around 68-76 depending on temps. Direct planting into coco jiffy plugs, charged with a light seaweed extract. Took 2 days exactly for seed to pop out of plugs. Grow diary 11 stage 5 Days 41-50 During the week she had some training and I removed the damaged leaves. The whole grow has suffered from me not getting the watering schedule sorted. This one is probably stunted, she is the farthest along in the grow and the shortest. She has been in flower for over 10 days now.
