Just growing. Lots of wind here so I had to give extra support again.

She truly might be becoming the Gorilla that was promised, huge leaves. Not as pungent or bushy as the Orange Hill beside her but she seems to get there. I'm finally seeing some exponential growth, I'm going to give them as much rest as I can coming weeks to maximize growth before flowering and to prevent (hopefully) them going hermie on me, which both Gorillas and Orange Hill Special are prone to. I have made a video to thank them for letting me use their SP-3000. What a beast of a light!! Thanks again @MarsHydroLED for letting me test this awesome light! I have made a new layer of topsoil made of organic coco-peat, which should help me prevent more fungus gnats. They already seem to hate it and are wandering around in agony trying to dig in... Good for them, freeloading beastards. Now we go to flowering coming weeks, and I can't wait... Thanks for checking in and the likes and support!

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Howdy! I have premixed 1L worth of PH adjusted nutrient solution which I am periodically syringing on top of the rock wool when it starts to get dry. I see some people only use RO water with cal-mag to start them off, but through my own unscientific opinion I figured 550 PPM won’t hurt considering seeds grow in soil and that isn’t exactly nutrient free! I am using RO water which I will keep in a 70 litre bucket ready for the DWC system once it is up and running. RO system was only £50/$80/€60 from the internet and it’s getting my hard water down to 0-1PPM from 450PPM. Growing my ladies in a smallish tent, 60 x 120cm which is 180cm high. Using one 315w LEC/CMH for the first two weeks, and then adding another 315w after week two. Using 4200k bulbs for veg, 3200k bulbs for bloom. Will take more pictures of the set up in the next week or so once the babies are in the 70 litre DWC Bubble System. Planning on buying Silica Blast to compliment nutrients in the next week or so. Ps, I believe this is the first DWC grow diary for Strawberry Lemonade, hopefully my mistakes and successes over coming weeks will help anyone who reads this! 🌱

So the second week begins for this lady. She is growing well and has been moved to her penultimate pot and has exploded since being transplanted! She was fed a half dose of Big Bloom to see how she would respond and seemed to have no issues with it. Im hoping she starts to catch up with the others! She has a curl to her first set of leaves (?) but otherwise looks real healthy.

I'm so excited for these girls! They have all impressed me. I can't wait to do some more runs with them sometime! It will definitely be interesting to see if the WW and FF exhibit the same 'mohawking' in future grows. @fast_buds @atlasseed @seedsman @sunraise @sensorpushtech @greengro

the headbuds of the rainbow triangle were already harvested with the other plants (Forbidden Nectar and Sunset Kush Pop Clone), as one of the thick headbuds had already a little bit budrod We left the rest of the plant for another week. During this week, the lower buds really put on weight again. The head buds are already dried and will be cured. The rest has now been hung up to dry.
