Día 87(30/09): A partir de ayer ya empezamos a regar con agua, hacia calor así que probé con agua un poquito mas fría, y no se si será por el frío o por la etapa pero demostró mas tricomas de los comunes, una evolución grande a pasos lentos.

This strain took really well to LST and didn’t seem fazed by the training at all. She did become a really heavy drinker about two weeks or so into flower and she definitely seemed to want more nutes than usual. I believe I’ve got two more seeds so will be running this one again if the smoke is worth it.

Cantaloupe haze needed a good flush brought runoff from 2000 ppm to 1100ppm will continue to monitor.

We are getting closer! A few trichromes turning amber. Flushing until harvest. Have a few nanners popping up here and there; apparently not an issue this late in flower (and read male flowers this late are typically sterile?). Have plucked the ones I have seen. Well, it’s underway... I can’t wait to see everyone’s diaries coming along at the same time, especially now I’ve found some others in the competition with the same strain. So to start off, I popped the seeds into lukewarm water until they all stuck out a taproot. This process approximately took 24 hours. After that, I placed the seeds straight into a 6.0ph damp mixture of coco coir with perlite, mixed with a low dose of monster bud mix, supplied by Zamnesia. Then I placed the pots under the LED light for one night and 4/5 girls have put their heads up. I’m going to give all 5 seeds about 2-3 weeks in small pots to reveal which plant has the strongest genetics, followed by the best being potted into the competition pot provided by Zamnesia. Starting this week I will also add Oxygen granulate (KMPS, CAS-70693-62-8, 2KHSO₅ * KHSO₄ * K₂SO₄) I use this once a day to reach ~250 mV on my ORP meter, it is not calibrated so it more of a good guess, adding this helps to keep the reservoir stable even with higher nutrient temperatures in summer and it also adds a little Kalium/Potassium for the plants. The ORP probe is not calibrated and values are to be taken with a grain of salt. Values are average of the day. i was surprised that she was done on 2/15/25 spidermites had completely taken over one bud so i decided to check trichomes and she seemed ready.

Huge signs of progress this week! The smell has come in strong as well as the nice fat crystal flowers starting to plump up, Definitely a tall growing strain but all signs are pointing towards the yield being of a good quality! Have ordered a USB loupe that will be arriving tomorrow as the current is too hard for photos!

Incredible strong smell of melon, citrus , wood, earthy, it's wonderful!😁 She has no problems at all, the buds look thicker this week. Trichomes are milky white and translucent with some trichomes starting to have honey like head appearance. Not ready yet I will give her more time.💪👍

Day 5 since time change to 12/12. Hey everyone ☺️. Finally the time has come :-) The lady moved into the flower tent on January 6th, 2021 😁. The day before, of course, a cutting was taken 👍. In the flowering tent, the distance between the plant and the lamp is 40 cm so that she can get used to the strength of the lamp. After 3-5 days I go down to 30 cm. This week it was watered twice with 1 l per plant. GHSC enhancers were added to one wash :-). Flower fertilizer will only be added in 12-16 days as soon as the first blossoms are there :-). Otherwise the tent was completely cleaned and the humidifier refilled. For the next few days I have filled fresh osmosis water in canisters again :-). Next week I will remove the bottom shoots so that the energy doesn't end up going into small popcorn buds 😉.
