With this strain I vegged for 5 weeks and flowered for just over 10 weeks. The plants produced some impressive size buds with minimal popcorn bud. The buds are coated in trichomes which produce a sweaty-like resin which I haven’t seen before. Man this plant is LOUD - I loved it.

New update for week 12, concluding week 8 of flowering: Hi(gh) Folks! Thanks everyone for your input on my second grow question. I’m going for HighTV’s answer, the SOG with 9x4 main buds. Very nice to get everyone’s input on this, appreciate it! So another week done! They got their last nutrients Tuesday and on Thursday the 5 early ladies from Hempire got their first round of plain acidulated water. I flushed them a bit on Friday and Saturday to. Now they can dry out for a couple of days. I will flush them for the upcoming week and let them dry out before harvest next weekend. Im counting on them to swell up even further during this week. As for the rest of the 4 plants from Hempire, 4 from Royal Queen Seeds and 3 from Hy-Seeds, I will treat them as if this is another week 8, and they will get another dose of Flowering nutrients and PK. Then next week I will start to flush them also. I will have 2 full weeks to flush and let them dry out until my planned harvest on Saturday 5 January. I’m not even sure that will be early enough for the 4 RQS’s since they look like they have even more bud-growing to do, before they can start swelling! I will keep an eye on that. The 5 tall ladies, 2 from Hempire and 3 from Hy-Seeds show the nice thick Kushy buds i’m craving for, can’t wait to see the becoming nice and heavy! On the photos you see the slight diverence between the pheno’s, the left 2 plants grew the popcorn-buds on a stem, and the right ones have nice thick popcornbuds against the stem’s. The other to remaining Hempire plants also show these, apart from the early ladies offcourse. The early birds show a little stretching buds and nice purple colours. Week 15 Day 99 (20/11/2020): Unfortunately did not have time today to take pictures or check them because have been quite busy. Day 100 (21/11/2020): Woow day 100 today, which seems a bit crazy but I think the girls just need another month and they will be ready for harvest. It has been a great grow so far and although 100 days seems like a lot, the girls have definitely come really far. I did notice that the leaves on the top of both of the girls are getting a bit more yellow and less of that deep green colour. After searching what could be the cause for the top leaves turning yellow, it seems that it is because they are too close to the lamp. They have grown super tall so the lamp is currently at its highest so unfortunately there is nothing we can do but hopefully it won’t affect them too negatively. Day 101 (22/11/2020)💧: Measured the pH of the girls today before watering and RHC1 was at 5.76 and RHC2 was at 5.92 which means it needs to be increased slightly. I wonder why it keeps dropping because apparently the BioBizz soil is supposed to maintain the pH pretty well but I guess these are big girls and they must be taking in more nutrients. So I watered them with the usual 1.5ml of BioGrow, 4.5ml of BioBloom, 1.5ml of TopMax. And on top of that I gave RHC1 0.75ml of pH+ to increase the pH by 0.5 points and gave RHC2 0.5ml of pH+ to increase it by roughly 0.3 points which should take them both to 6.2. The buds are definitely fattening up more and the trichomes are looking like lovely purple snow on the buds! Day 102 (23/11/2020): Not that many updates today, but they are doing well after the watering and some of the flowers at the very bottom that always kind of wilt on the day of watering are back up again. I should have thought of cutting them off before maybe... Day 103 (24/11/2020): Girls are looking beautiful, managed to get a close-up picture that shows how red the buds are quite well. I really need to look for my loupe because I want to see those trichomes closer up and see if it’s the trichomes or the actual buds that are red. The buds of the two girls do look quite different from each other though, definitely easy to tell them apart. Day 104 (25/11/2020)💧: Today I watered the girls with 1.5ml of BioGrow, 4.5ml of BioBloom and 1.5ml of TopMax . The lower leaves and buds of girl #1 are definitely not strong enough to hold themselves up just before the watering. I think also because the buds are taking up the most nutrients and towards the end of the 2 days it is not enough for the lower stems. So not sure what to do about these but I guess I can cut them off if they do not recover tomorrow. Day 105 (26/11/2020): Took some lovely videos of the girls today 😍 they are growing so big they should be ready in just a few more weeks I think.

Today, May 31, harvest day. Very sticky and heavy purple-green buds.

*Week 6 of flowering 10/01* Critical +2.0 - Apple Fritter Both plants are nearing harvest and have maxed out at a height of 48 inches. Buds have developed heavy trichomes and are giving off a bright and vibrant smell. 85% of both plants have grown in their orange hairs and have a bright green and orange tint, Today will be the last nutrient feed, I will be using the "Lotus Carboflush" starting tomorrow (10/02) to remove the salt build up until harvest which will be next week (10/09) * 10/8 - Cut down* Both are heavy on top - Covered in trichomes - smells deep (Citrus) Dry trimming in two weeks - aiming for 14 day cure. *Day 2 Dry Hang Video uploaded 10/09* *10/15 - Harvest should be completed by the end of this week - 10/20*

Week 7 day 52: Ladies are not drinking as much it seems. Probably will continue to water 1.5gal every 3 days. Gave it some build a bloom today 6/29/22 as a final push. Just water from now on. They are just working on fattening up. Still throwing some white hairs but it is not much and trichomes are 20 % clear, 70% cloudy with the remaining 10% amber from what i can tell. I learned today, while using a microzoom hand held camera, that i am very shaky! I need to rig something up to hold the camera in place to get better pics.

11/17: I fed today but didn't have time for much of a photo session. Gave them One, Signal, Sweet & Sticky, Cha Ching, and started them on LiquidSoil. 11/19: The bigger plant just keeps putting on big swollen green calyx every day...such a big lovely freak! Amazing frost and pungent fuel aroma.😋 The smaller plant is a true beauty..got some purple in folage and flower and frosted over wonderfully. This pheno looks more like a Sugar Cane than the other.

Last week it rained and it looks like it is going to rain again this week. Frostbanger didn't get any nutrients last week which is okay because it is time to flush. I am flushing earlier than I had planned but it is time to take Frostbanger down!!! It has also been very humid here, around 90% and I am worried about bud rot. Frostbanger is definitely dense and resin covered, just like its description. It also has a very strong smell. I am sure the neighbors can smell it-LOL. This strain has been a pretty easy strain to grow. The weather conditions have been my biggest challenge.

Start 25/10/2024 Harvest Day 74 - 06/01/2025 92 cm jet fuel was the taller No flush, flawless finish 2 ml a week an half before harvest then just watering with pH 8. Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. Bonjour à tous, ces derniers jours ce sont bien passé pour mes petit bébés elles grandissent doucement mais sûrement.C’est la première fois que je travail avec cette gamme de produits (je vous est mis des photos des produits 😉) pour l’instant j’en suis satisfait après, il faut voir le résultat final ce qui est moins facile 😂. Mes petit bébés commence leurs 5ème semaine (je me suis trompé d’une semaine 😕 désolé 😉) trop pressé!!! 😂 de mettre de nouvelles photos 😜. One more week til harvest I believe. Still flushing

9/16 Day 8: transplanted 3 of them into 1 gallon plastic pots. they werent very rooted but the roots they did have were healthy and thick. will transplant the others as soon as i can. Up potted about half of the tent. i need to set up another tent 9/18 day 10 transplanted the last 2 plants into 1 gallon pots. im reusing soil with them and i dont normally do that. hoping that there arent any random issues to pop up. 9/19 finally numbered the plant's. #1 is the one that's looking more sativa leaning. she has longer petioles or fan leaf stems. Longer, thinner leaves and has stood out from the rest from the very beginning. im going to use the terms indica/ sativa and hybrid as generalized terms. on the other end #5 is super short and tightly spaced nodes. has a more even indica style look to her. #'s 2-4 i have noted as being "hybrid" as in they look to be a mix of both and not on one end or the other such as #1 and #5 are. also onr of the hybrid ones has super thick indica maple leaf style leaves that stands out as well. these are more so for my notes and i understand that these are all technically hybrids 60/40 sativa/indica i believe.
