Week 4 of flower and the plants a doing well after week 3's leaf strip.

Some bad news... Had pollen sac explode in the tent (two actually). I'm going to finish the grow, might lose some yield and have some seeds but better then nothing. I new this might happen from the sacs I found earlier in the grow. I did mist the tent down to minimize the pollen spread hopefully not to many flowers compromised.

Start of week four and things are looking great! Girls recovered from day 21 defoliation. I’m pretty sure I did mess up and didn’t leave enough nodes, but only time will tell! Buds look delicious but not much of a smell yet

The plants are happy and on cruze control. Apart from daily defoliation I'm just letting them do their thing. No nutrients or boosters have been added this week🤙 Ok and still contending with bladdy LOAD SHEDDING !!!!!! 2-4 hours of electricity turned off by Eskom NATION WIDE!!! I'm currently sitting in the pitch dark tying this🤙 Google it.. totally sucks

Blue Cheese F1 automatic Week 6 2/9-15 The Cheese gals are in full flower, the buds are puffing out and stacking. I even see some lower buds connecting to the upper buds and some pistils are turning brown. There is some smell when I open the tent. The F1 genetics are reflected in that these 2 plants are almost identical. I don’t see much difference in their growth so far using the different mediums. Soil and soil/coco blend. Maybe harvest will show a difference in yield from each one. Time will tell. On 2/13 I did major defoliation on my Cheese gals. I removed all large fan leaves and any leaves shading bud sites. Initially, I thought this would be my last defoliation, however I have heard that 1) they continue to grow new leaves until day 20 of flower and 2) there must be enough foliage on the plant to photosynthesize energy. Well, I hope I left enough leaves for energy to keep bulking up the buds. Stretching has slowed down. Both girls grew only an inch and now 17 inches. This is only the end of flower week 2. Controller is set to flower. I add 2 gallons of water to the T700 humidifier daily to keep the VPD in line. 2/9 & 11 4 gal fed 2 liter each nutrients added at ½ of recommended amount. Making 4 gallons since I have 2 pots of carrots and a Dill in the back. Stretched a bit. Ramping up their nutrients. She’s doing well! She had a prominent main cola. She’s not as big as the other testers. Bu tv seems to be the most frosty so far

So far 44 grams total dry weight of flower. I have 1 zkittlez girl left. Smoke is amazing and the sedating effects come after the peak. Overall great looking and tasting bud.

For the last week our temperatures have been over 95f with the heat index, the feels like temperatures approach 115F. We have been under an extreme heat advisory. Stay inside, stay hydrated, put salt in your water for electrolytes, dress in loose clothing, etc. Remember week 7, I posted pictures of our bridge opening with boats…Well the extreme heat broke the bridge around 3pm yesterday. It is a primary thoroughfare and was closed indefinitely to traffic. They fixed it around 8pm. Traffic was a nightmare. It also shows the limits of evacuating in case of hurricanes. I couldn't load the video, but the pic shows they are spraying down the bridge to cool the equipment that operates the draw lift. I’m still treating areas of bud rot in hopes of saving some of Sour Jealousy. I’ve cut off a couple more spots, but she survived another week. Let’s see if she can hang on through this week of extreme heat and anticipated rain. I give her ½ gallon of water daily and only feed once or twice a week. This plant was an absolute dream to. Grow, no issues at all with health of plant, just struggled to tame her as she was a a thick strong climber 💪💪. I'm so impressed with how this turned out, I could have flushed for another 3 days to make it 12days but I needed the space. After The 2 days of dark I was recommended I can definitely say it has vastly boosted her trichomes and the smell when I opened the tent blew my head away 😍😋 Aiming for a 10-14 day hang dry, The 10-12 weeks curing in jars with humidity packs. I will update with a dry bud weight and smoke test 👌 Bud wet weight is just 500g+ Final bud dry weight is 298g. Of juicy resinous purple and orange buds 😍 smells like sherbert and hang dry smoke test revealed a candy sherbert, no banana yet but hoping like the grow it matures with cure process now. Hits eyes straight away, sandy bottom kids, giggles, munchies, fun time with Mrs, bed. Merry Christmas everyone from Sunshine and me! Thank you for following another update and I hope you and yours are enjoying yourselves! She is still filling out her bud sites and the buds have grown considerably so in my case she seems more of a late-bloomer, she is covered in trichomes and smells like exotic fruit. Removed some more leaves, she had some more humid areas that could go moldy. Started only giving plain water since a couple of days. The previous time with the final shot of perma tea. She is clearly ending her run and my guess is that the soil still has high nute level, coming days will start flushing with more water I don't know if I can give her days of darkness since shell probably go first. GIRL SCOUT IS THE ONE WITH 16 MAIN STEMS: MAINLINED WHILE TOPPING 4-TIMES Absolutely this one is the best one i've ever grown. this girl tastes just so amazing, and the bud formation was great and REALLY dense :) for a third grow also this was a pretty chilled out project, not much in terms of pests, deficiencies or whatever. loved the plagron grow+bloom (terra) and the PK booster (greensensation) here :)

So, eventful week. Prior to putting my seeds into my system, my light and rdwc system was left on as I was dialling in the growing environment before placing the seeds as a final home. My only issue was I had a light leak BEFORE putting the foil top covers on the clay pebbles. Long story short, I got algae which ended up turning to root rot. I spotted it very swiftly and did a res change adding beneficial bacteria to the system along with the base products of remo nutrients. A few days later new growth and recovery is taking place. Day 16- Fully back on track, new roots shooting out into the water and the growth rate has picked up as it should. Foliar feeding twice a day for a little boost until the root system establishes a bit more. Huge changes in just a day. Can't wait to see what a week's growth looks like. Really loving the sunset/sunrise feature on the trolmaster, something I got to experience watching recently! Watching by closely to make sure everything stays in track. Stay tuned for the next one 😉
