12/16 - Howdy there, growers. Here we are at the start of week 11 for this lady. Day 77 from seed. She still have a little ways to go, but she is coming along quite nicely. Buds are stacked and rock hard and getting frostier by the day. I'm trying not to rush this one. I removed the Pro-TeKt from her regimen as she isn't growing anymore. I switched her feed over to ~1.0ec (500ppm) to taper her down during her last two weeks. I am also going to taper the lighting schedule down as we approach chop on her once her sister is no longer in the tent. Thanks for checking out the garden, and, as always, Happy Growing!

Fruity pebbles auto in the Athena nutrition is doing good. Her roots are looking out the basket. It won't be long till they are in the solution. Everything is looking good at the moment. Both of the girls are really packing on the weight now. These are their last week or two. Haven't decided whether I'm going to harvest this week or next. But you'll see a harvest post soon, I'm sure :) It doesn't look like left is quite ready for harvest(white hairs popping up still), but I'm going to chop them both at the same time, regardless. I may do so a bit later on account of left being behind. If anything, I'll just harvest right, then do left a week or so later. Cheers everyone! Really like this strain, but it does have quite ugly leaves lmao. Update: The girls officially got the chop on the 20th. They've been drying ever since. Did a leaf strip and then hung em up. Stay tuned next week for a grow/smoke report :) Harvested at about 90% cloudy 10% amber trichs. The smell is incredible! I can smell it as soon as I open the door to the room they're drying in. This was a pretty fun grow, but I don't think I'll be running this strain again during the winter. Looking for more hardy strains to better handle our fluctuating climate.

Medium: 🥥🥥🥥🥥 Coco remains as the most manageable medium in our arsenal. It’s simplistic, similar to conventional soil but as a nutrient neutral medium, it’s also much more tailored to the growers preferences in terms of feeding. It’s best attribute is excellent drainage and consistency - a lot fluffier than soil which definitely translates to faster growth rates. It’s a damn shame that this particular grower forgot the cardinal f$&@king rule when it comes to any grow - always water to run off and pay attention to the strength of the feed in relation to the plants growth stage. If we had followed these basic principles we wouldn’t have run into the serious late stage burn that almost toasted the whole plant. On the flip side of that, coco flushes out incredibly well and if not for this attribute, the whole grow would’ve been an unmitigated disaster. Method 🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️ Uggghhh - hindsight f$&@‘n sucks sometimes. Best descriptor for how we grew this girl - imagine having the dinner table set with your finest china, a bottle of the most expensive red wine you can find, a brand new top-o-the-line BBQ, and then burning the absolute f$&k out of a $40 prime rib. That’s exactly how this grow feels... We were looking to scrog it the whole time and this went perfectly. The plant helped quite a bit with longer than expected internodal spacing. This allowed for a really even canopy/bed of buds. Again though, the vipar 450w (truly a 200w~) shit the bed mid veg. And we needed a replacement. Went with a 100w SpiderFarmer QB. While I truly am pleased with the purchase I do believe that we should’ve upp’d to the 200w model (or 2, 100w models) to achieve a similar output and result - @silverback_guerilla was right on point with the lighting advice (*again). Given the reduced yield it just feels like the nodal spacing and overall bud quality may have suffered with the reduced power. This, despite the better light spectrum and overall coverage in general. As an aside - an additional Fixture is now on the way😉👍. Worst part about this is we’ll never really know what the true limiting factor actually was due to the nute burning. Probably the single most stupid, rook mistake I could’ve made was not watering to runoff.... just too much shit going down in the world (and in life) these days and I started to treat the grow like it was on auto pilot🤬🤬🤬. The whole worlds a cluster f$&k right now so why should the grow be any different right? 4/5 for the method, losing1 point because the grower is a lazy moron. Yield/Harvest🌴 The final numbers are better than expected, 2.26oz of usable bud. Not overly fluffy and not overly dense. Not glazed in frost but not without a little shimmer. All around mediocre unfortunately. What it coulda? Shoulda? Woulda been??? Note sure 🤔 but we’ll take it👍. On a more positive note - There was still another new addition to our grow cycle. This time on the back end. Everyone knows that trimming just plain sucks. When we’re spitt’n out 3-4 plants every few months, the exercise is a dreaded necessity if were gonna maintain the vast array of choice that we’re used to🤙👌. The whole process just for one plant can take hours unless you have help. We prefer to wet trim too so for those that don’t require a commercial size trimmer, the only option to save some time is a trim bowl. We bit the bullet, dropped the cash on one - have NOT been disappointed at all! Not only did it cut the chop process from 2-3 hours down to a mere 45 minutes, the buds literally came out rack ready. There was no need to do any touch up trimming and the bud photos you see are as-is, right out the bowl🤩. Really coulda used this last fall and I would recommend this to anyone who chops more than a handful of plants per year. Just awesome and worth every penny!👌🤙👍 At times like these, we should all just be thankful that we still have both the opportunity and ability to grow our own✌️. Out of Amsterdam, they are the 2nd such breeder to market their genetics worldwide and can lay claim to the origins of their beans better than most (if not all) others. They’ve produced here an indica hybrid cross of M33/Friesland Indica with an elite clone of Lava Cake. We’re hoping to encounter one of the purple phenos but only time will tell. She’s supposed to be super strong too and not for the faint of heart 👍. We’ve been wait’n on this one awhile and she’ll be getting individual treatment in the small cab - 5gal. Coco w/perlite and the typical nute regimen. Advance props for the best packaging I’ve ever seen (although you may need to be an 80’s baby or older to truly appreciate it😉). See week 1 photos.

Week 6 already! The buds are getting more and more tricomes and slowly getting fatter, we also gave some PK but i think it was a little too much combined with the palm tree ashes in the soil, but nothing to worry about, we wil lower the dosis and start the flush next week 😁👌

Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 Info and pictures were taken at day 12 of flower. Nice progress this week. There's plenty of new growth. She hasn't grown upwards as much as the other ladies, only about 5 cm this week. BUT she's got a darker green color, stronger smell than all the others. It's smell is unique and very strong. Not sweet, VERY pungent, it's a slap in the face kind of smell. Her bud formation is also more advanced than all the other girls. That's something I need to watch out for because she's an early finisher. Supposedly finishes in 40 - 45 days. Feeding 1,5L each, every other day. Will be increasing as they ask for more. How do they ask for more? When feeding if the soil is drier than normal I give a 150-200ml increment of water. I do that until they stop feeding so much then i just maintain that amount. I start reducing if it takes longer to dry. That works good for me. The old finger in the dirt trick. 👍 Nothing like knowing exactly what your ladies need first hand. That's it for now. [61° FLO] ⚡- Light: 30 cm / 250 watt; ⌛- Schedule: 12/12; 🌡️- 23° C - 65% RH average; 📑- PH 5.9 - EC 0.4; 💧- 10° DWC change, 10 liters fresh tap water in DWCs. 🌱- I cut a small branch from the #1, very frosty and shining! [62° FLO] ⌛- Schedule: 0/24; 🌙- Light off until Harvest; 🌡️- 18° C - 65% RH average; 📑- PH 5.8 - EC 0.4; 💧- 3° day flush. [63° FLO] - Harvest day ⌛- Schedule: 0/24; 🌙- 48 hours in dark done; 🌡️- 18° C - 65% RH average; 📑- PH 5.8 - EC 0.4; 💧- 4 days without nutrients in DWCs. I removed water 20 hours before the chop; 🌸- Trichomes: Phenotype #1: Milky 90% - Amber 10% / Phenotype #2: Milky 85% - Amber 15%. ✅ HARVEST - After 4 days flush and 2 days in the dark, I cut both plants on DAY 63 FLO; - Wet trim, removed fan leaves. 🔜- We are at the end and I am organizing my next two diaries, I really like this initial phase of organization and planning for the next four or five months. The "modus operandi" will be the same adopted in this cultivation, I will start with two very fast autoflowering plants and in the meantime I will give the two photoperiodic plants a long vegetative growth. I still have to decide on the strains, but I already have an idea. As far as the nutritional regime is concerned, there will be big changes, for the first time I will be using beneficial bacteria in my DWCs and anyone who has any advice on using them in this setup feel free to write to me and share some thoughts. 🆕- On week 15 I got the TrolMaster TCS-1 by @TrolMaster_Europe and I started to track my grow box data. I will add these info once I add the harvest week!

A week in and four out of the six are ready to head to the big tent to go into their one gallon hydro buckets... I've been impressed so far with the 100% germination rate as well as the vigor in which these have taken off. The roots are well over 6 inches and they've been guzzling up this diluted nutrient solution I've started them off with.

New week! Tips and help from last week, I had around 1500 ppm and I did flush my roots in water and change everything. Now is around 1000 ppm and dropping 150 ppm a day. Did read about water level in DWC and how to increase the grow with water. I had the water almost up to the root or the level of there the basket is. Now I have 1-2 inch (2-5 cm) below where the roots come out. This create air roots. I'm not sure if it's the air roots or the ppm but my flower is boosting. Can se buds grow!! Trimming so I can keep the same hight. Have any tips or rekomandation? Only have one question for next week and this is: it's looking a bit thigth between the buds and all of the leaf is cristal on it. Should I cut some more leaf? And what leaf should I trim? Is so thigth in there. Or will it grow fine?

🌱 Skywalker OG — Week 5 From Seed (12/12 Run) Hello everyone, welcome to another update, and a big thank you to everyone following along, newcomers, longtime readers, sponsors, platform, and of course the breeders and creators behind these genetics. It truly means a lot to share this journey together. For those just joining: this is a 12/12 from seed run, approached gently and observationally. No rush, no aggression, just letting the plants express themselves while we listen closely. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Room Conditions • Temperature: 21°C • Relative Humidity: ~58% • Outside conditions: 4–5°C with 90–98% RH Given what’s happening outside, I’m actually very happy with how stable the room is staying. The plants seem to agree, posture, color, and overall vigor are excellent. • CO₂: ~666 ppm For now, this is perfectly fine. No need to push or supplement — steady and natural. ⸻ 💡 Lighting Strategy (Top + Under Canopy) At the start of the week: • Only top lights are running • Power: 100% • PPFD: ~700–850 (depending on plant size) As the plants stretch and rise above the under-canopy fixtures, we’re now introducing under-canopy lighting: • Lumiflora under-canopy lights • Starting at 30% power This is very intentional. The goal isn’t to blast the plants, but to teach them that light and photons will be arriving from more than one direction. We want a gentle adaptation — letting the plant reorganize how it uses light rather than forcing it. Power will be increased later, but right now it’s all about adjustment, not intensity. ⸻ 🌿 Training Approach (or lack of it) Because this is a 12/12 from seed run, we are being extremely conservative. • No topping • No hard training • No defoliation The only work being done: • Leaf tucking • Gentle leaf bending And the response has been incredible. These girls are reacting with: • Tight internodes • Bushy structure • Calm, confident growth Sometimes, truly, less touch = better performance. ⸻ 🌱 The Triple-Branching Lady (Main Focus of the Week) This week’s highlight is one very special plant showing clear triple branching. At each node, instead of the usual two shoots, she’s producing three distinct branches, stacking from the bottom all the way up. The structure almost looks like she’s tucking herself naturally, creating a dense but elegant framework. This is not something we forced. It’s purely genetic expression meeting the right conditions. She looks happy. She looks calm. And she looks like she’s planning something special. We’ll be doing a dedicated report on her by the end of the week, because this kind of morphology deserves proper documentation. ⸻ 💧 Watering & Nutrition Strategy Water Source We’re using a mix of: • Rainwater • Dehumidifier-collected water This water is extremely soft, so this week we introduced something new: ➕ CalMag Pro Not because the plants were asking — but thinking ahead. Before adding nutrition, we want a proper mineral foundation. This helps stabilize uptake and prevents issues before they even show up. Aside from that: • No changes to the main recipe • Everything remains steady and predictable ⸻ Two Systems, One Tent (Why Autopots + Hand Watering) We currently have two feeding approaches in the same tent: 🔹 Autopots (6 plants) • Mineral-only feeding • EC: 2.29 • pH: 6.0 Organics and autopots generally don’t play well together. Organics are alive, they change over time, they ferment, pH drifts, and control becomes very difficult when solution sits for long periods. It’s not just about smell — it’s about stability. 🔹 Hand-Watered Plants (including the Skywalker OGs) • EC: 1.43 • pH: 5.9 With organics, hand watering gives: • Better control • Individual feeding per plant • The ability to respond to how each plant drinks and eats And honestly? I love this approach. Each plant gets treated as an individual, not a number. ⸻ 🌿 Overall Plant Health • Deep, lush green • Strong structure • Bushy growth everywhere • No signs of stress This run honestly feels too good to be true sometimes — but it’s real, and it’s exciting. ⸻ 🔍 Growth Stage & What to Expect Next Even though this is Week 5 from seed, the plants are still finishing what I’d call their last week of veg. By the end of this week, we’re starting to see: • Clear pre-flower signs • Early transition into flowering behavior This is a very important phase. The plant is deciding how it wants to flower — structure, spacing, and energy distribution are all being set right now. Week 3 of veg. They seem to react well to the nutrients. For now i'm happy, can't wait for the flower phase.

Commence à bien sentir

Beginning of 6th week of flowering F36 SD2 smells like a burning tire next to an engine oil spill. The smell is aggressive and gets into your nose. SD3 smells like sweet engine grease with a warmth.The smell is inviting.

Start of week 6 now, Not sure if this is technically in the flowering stage yet, but def seeing more of the white white pistils. Accidentally overdid it a little on nutrients so had a good flush with some ph balanced water and all seems good, just 1 or 2 burn spots on a leaf here and there. Dialling it all back to keep it safe at the moment. I've had to bend the tallest plant over and am using my tent net to secure it for now. Included a few vids this time, so feel free to let me know if you spot any issues. Smell is now noticeable if I leave my grow tent open whilst watering, so glad I got a carbon filter. :D Also had to get a bit inventive to shift the LED lights up a bit as Im using a 160 CM tall tent. I am planning to bend most of the tops down to the net hight, so hopefully this will keep things from getting light burn as still have about 25 inches of space from the net to the LED its self. Watering is around 600 Ml per pot per 24 hrs just now. Edit: 04/09/18 Added 2 more pics, mostly on some of the lowest leafs, noticed some marks, thankfully just 1 or 2, so not widespread and could equally just be a bit of nutrient burn, but thought Id post to see if anyone notices something I dont.
