Day 99 - Change up for ripening. Have Moved to the Sunmaster 10K finisher to see about frosting up dem der buds. Have also moved to using Dragon Force now to get the final push on them prior to flushing them back for the harvest. Getting plenty of Brown pistils (Much easier to see under the 10K) but from last nights look, trichs were still pretty clear. Have ordered a wee USB microscope of the Big Bad Amazon to give them a better look (expecting it Wednesday) as the wee handheld loope I have is pretty pish!!! Pretty good week, no problems. Added a dehumidifier yesterday (Saturday). And also bought a new light. The light should arrive on Tuesday. Looking forward to that because then I’ll be able to spread them out further so they’ll all have as much room to grow as they need. I believe they’ve started flowering, that happened like day 24 when I first noticed the white hairs coming out of the bud sites. They really took off growing mid way through the week. Like twice the growth as the prior week. I haven’t been defoliating per se, I have been tucking & tying leaves down. Many of the secondary flowering nodes have actually surpassed the main cola’s of my plants height wise. Those that did I tied slightly back down. Really wish I could cut a few branches off them without stressing them out. Oh well. Such is the bane of autoflower growing. The new light I bought is a Colofrog 2021 CF 2400 LED w/Samsung LM301H Osram Diodes. From what I gathered online, it’s a better light than the Mars hydro tsw 2000 I currently own. I’ve got my ts 1000 in the tent currently just to get through until the new light comes Tuesday.

Week 7. I adjusted the watering system so that instead of 3 minutes twice a day, it now turns on at 5 hour intervals during the lights on period. So the first watering occurs at 8 am when the lights come on, then again at 1pm, 6pm and 11pm.* This turned out to produce too much runoff after the first day. So I adjusted it down to 1 minute for each fertigation, still at the 5 hour intervals 4 times a day. I started seeing trichomes on some of the buds. They are still very early in their development, but I can see some sugar leaves starting to get frosty. The smell, which is sweet and green, has become more prominent when the tent is open, but not overwhelming by any means.

These 2 are growing likes beasts. They will both be going outside in the next 2 weeks or so. Just waiting on overnight temps to stay in the double digits and we are GTG.

Haven't seen too much calyx formation yet, just a lot of stretching. Waiting on the purple too🧐 I've been pruning out lower branches and leaves hanging close to the ground to help keep air flowing and humidity down, especially near her stalk.

Next week is the last week before 2 weeks flash:) I'm a bit sad that they haven't become any real fat buds, but the next run will be with extremely good seeds, you can look forward to it. There’s argument to be made about genetics and structure but there’s also no denying that the Nun dug a little deeper and found something that her peers didn’t or couldn’t. With the onset of pistils, Purple Wedding Glue saw a rehoming with an entirely different set of environmental parameters, namely slightly higher DLI and a crash in humidity to 50-55% that she accepted with grace and poise followed also by a jump in nutrition with the start of her flowering solution minus the first week of flower K dose. And that’s where the complications set in… As I write this I’m looking at the start of leaf stress, inward curling on the new growth sans any burning or clawing, that I’m attributing to myself and my propensity to push the envelope in the name of frugalness. Bio diesel state very clearly on their foliar feed chart “we advise using Rhino K within the first 24 hours of mixing”… I did not lol, and I now believe that 72 hours is asking too much of the solution 🤣. So the foliar application of K brought with it a hiccup but nothing dramatic, lesson learned, only fresh foliar mixtures from now on. But that situation lead me to leave out the K from PWG’s first coco soak. In saying all that the K application did see a tightening and decrease in node spacing and subsequently a slow in vertical growth. A welcome and expected result as PWG was suffering from a slight case of scoliosis due to cramping in the nursery tent. And smell. PWG now comes equipped with an olfactory experience. A deep waft of her admittedly early main cola site suggests a slight but evident dank on the front and burned coffee on the back, no doubt to change and evolve as she matures but any scent beyond planty chlorophyll gets a smile. March 25, 2023 at 1:48 PM -Ever since I started watering them with lower pH water, 6.0 to 6.3, the 2 BOH’s really started to takeoff. I might do some slight defoliation on all the plants. I’ll takeoff their lower nodes to make it easier to bend them from the main stock. The strawberry crinkle has very close internodes and is really bushy with large and thick fingers. It’s too short to try and bend over so I might have to do more of the defoliation job in order for the lower nodes to get more light. March 28, 2023 at 5:24 PM - March 29, 2023 at 2:01 PM -I’ve bent over several stems this week. I have only had one small accident with the strawberry crinkle. The top was snapped off somehow but I don’t remember it happening, but it seems to be taking it well. I watered them the day before with some tea with ph at 6.3. so far I could bend over things every day. They are starting to cover the entire pot. - Today’s the last day of week three.

At the second day of week 2 the first two leaves of each Mimosa look a little crinkled, but the environment is ok and the Peyote in the same tent looks good so i think it is characteristic of this particular strain. At the fourth day of week 2 the plants show signs of explosive growth

I use a 70/30 solution of H2O2 and tap water inside a small capsule, allowing the seed to soak for 24 hrs, and she was ready for her birthday, already showing a tap root in that time span... I then place the seed into a damp paper towel to allow the tap root to extend a little further out in preparation for the transplant. I'll start her in a small grow bag filled with my amended Pro Mix seed starter blend, hopefully making a strong seedling for my first AutoPot run. This is for their grow off, which I found on their Discord server, but they are very active on FB and IG... Their catalog of offerings are definitely connoisseur genetics, most importantly, Made in the USA! 🇺🇲
