In this week the buds are starting to get more and more compact, very sticky flowrs, and the pheno #2 smells a little stronger than this pheno but still the same strong amnesia smell very apreciated, I'm a big fan of amnesia strains, and this amnesia pro by gea seeds is an amazing version of amnesia hypro very happy with her performance so far! It's been a beautiful strain to work with, the flowrs are definitely worth it after all this time, the quality is definitely high. However this pheno of ak420 smells very different from the other 2 phenos I've grown along with her. The flowrs are beautiful, very solid and frosty nuggets, I smoked a few little nuggets when trimming but I'm excited to taste the big buds, hope you guys enjoyed the process. I want to say that this pheno #1 has a different smell compared to the other 2 phenotypes of ak420 that you can see here on my page as well, so stay tuned guys! Overall result is very nice, good quality, strong weed, sticky, stinky. Plant stayed small, but buds were full and dense. Structure was nice, although it could not take much LST.

Loved it all from the start! Could see from the rqs pot it thrived and the organic nutrients made it so much more alive! I mean I had little effort in her just had to water and add boost and I did that every fortnight! I’m so for organic now may try a one part solution next! Glad of the weights had so many nice dense buds on her and the initial taste was sweet and fruity and that’s before a full cure! Royal queen seeds deserve there place on the map 1 million percent

Week 5 of flower 9/6/24 After neglecting to check runoff EC, the reading was 3 and PH 4.7, it's crazy that the plant did not show any signs of damage besides one branch. After flushing the growing medium with RO water + FloraKleen + H2O2 (PH 6.5), the runoff PH was still to high. The problem persisted after watering with 50% dilution nutrient solution and still getting low PH readings and high EC. The solution was to put something underneath the fabric pot, to create a gap for the runoff water to drain freely from the bottom part. Before, the fabric pot was sitting on the plate and the runoff was draining from 2 little holes in the middle to the drain compartment. Right after creating the gap and watering, all the readings were corrected. Fortunately, all salt build up got washed away, and the plant showed no more problems. :) On day 26 days of flower, the nutrient schedule was changed to fit the fifth week of flower. Note to self: check PH and EC every 3 waterings.

D93ish - 11.6 - I found her in a dumpster with a split stem and no grow equipment and our journey began. From the clandestine tent and trying different lights to spider mites and super cropping. Me and this baby been there. She was a great teacher and I loved her dearly. I'm incredibly grateful for her resilience and patience with me as learned my way around this new skill. I killed her last night, cut her into pieces and put her in a box to dry. I havent smoked any of the newly harvested Dumpster Queen and won't test it until it goes into cure jars, but the sample I took off over a week ago was divine and opened my eyes to everything I've been missing in organic grown nugs. Thank you all for you support. I'm so stoked moving forward with this newfound hobby and passion. Will update in a week or so on the dry weight, cuz I'm really interested too. Expecting about a QP, just enough to give as gifts to some awesome friends and keep me going until my next harvest! 11.9 - stems were snapping i trimmed her up further into jars and weight came out to 80g. The nugs are not very dense or large, but are very very sticky and full trichomes. Smells of sweet dank floral and pine and the dank and floral notes really come out in a joint. I just got bubble bags from BubbleBagDue and will practice extraction on some the the trim and super larfy stuff : Thanks again for the support and following along everyone. Been smoking hard on it and is still thoroughly enjoying it. Notable changes in flavor is the shift of that floral scent to more berry. It smells soo good I bury my face in the jar haha. The effect is still very uplifting and creative, which is great since I'm writing my phd dissertation. Anyhow, be well. Tons of love!

Greetings to any helpful advice

i switched to a worm casting and kelp extract from Fox Farm big bloom and took out the Morbloom. I was getting enough from the open sesame that didnt require it. I would find that I didnt even need the open sesame and ran a flush half way into the week. The plants didnt show signs of burn but I checked the soil and it was getting salty. I ran a flush with sledgehammer about 5 gallons per plant. run off turned 6.8 and the ppm turned back to 300 like in early to mid veg. I then went back to a tea about 4 days after letting the soil dry out again. Keep an eye on the soil at this point. I will be flushing everyt plant like this before flower from here on out unless KNF decides to be the way to go. I defoliated and lollipopped the plants this week too. The flush and the stretch bushed these suckers out. The soil I used through out is a custom home made recipe that I perfected. if you want details to the sources dm me on IG @ Proud_to_Grow_loud I am showing the last 5 weeks now of these strains and pheno hunt.

Hanging to dry in 55% humidity 18c will report back once dried and cured for awhile 👌 Total 313g and 35g of larf I added to the trim bag. Smells incredible and is now stored in grovebags. Took a total of just over 10days to dry.

A step back recently: Started a final flush (2 days in), and decided to start feeding her again - thanks to some great GD input! 250 ppm at re-start and will work my way to 500ppm? She's still rockin' along - like nothing happened. She topped out at 350 ppm without tanking PH, so she is stable here. PH is now swinging down fairly quickly last 12 hours. Drained off 1/3 of reservoir and get reservoir down to 250PPM. 5 days later, major PH swings down again. Mixed another fresh reservoir. I am using Zero Water 5 gallon system, and just realized the PPM coming out was 100, and PH at 3! If I am at 100 today, that means these filters have been shot for a while, maybe since start of my PH issue. There is also interesting information about when zero water filters reach their expectancy. They put out fishy smell and otherwise. I will be watching my filters more often and taking more notes since this ZeroWater 5 gal system is really the way to go if you are only growing a plant or two. Filters are a bit spendy but when you take time, gas, convenience etc. its a no brainer (if the water coming out is zero:) - I get about 15 gallons per filter (175ppm from tap). Day 70. It’s been about a day since new res change. Steady Eddie at 250 ppm and 6.2. I’ll let her drink the bucket down a good ways if things remain stable with a drift down. I doubt it though, 5 gallon is fine for 12” autos but at 2’ she really needed 8 gal. Time to up the R&D on the cabinet! Also checked Zero Water again and filter is now putting out 200ppm of 3.0 water. New filters installed! Hope she finishes soon, the top of her canopy slowly getting cooked over the last 10 days. 8" of light distance is too little. PPFD 2000+ at the top, but leaf temps are in the upper 70's. Gotta hit a decent DLI on these lower buds - without nuking the top nugs, right?! As the week concludes, she’s in a fresh bath, at 250ppm @ 6.0 and running stable again. New water filters installed so zero water variable removed. Last serving of half+ teaspoon of GH dry KB ripening, and will reduce ppm by 25/day until I reach 10-15%. 1-2 day flush, if at all.

WEEK 7 - Day 51 - 05/21/20 Rickey Cricket is thriving in his little garbage can grow! 😵 The training has allowed the lower branches to reach up during the flower stretch and should get a fat little stocky bud-ball of a plant out of it. With the small amount of soil I can tell it's going to be a quick drinker. Nice and open now and need it for the small space of the grow. 2 GIRLS IN 1 CUP: This round I have decided to grow the BANANA KRUMBLE from GREENHOUSE SEEDS. It is a cross of Banana Punch with the original OG-Kush and said to have a very strong effect, which makes it a good medicine against my chronic backpain! In the catalogue description of Greenhouse it says the buds grow compact with big colas and get a purple coloration. Since I LOVE PURPLE VARIETIES OF CANNABIS I decided to give this strain a go. 😃 I planned on doing 4 plants in a SCROG (=screen of green) with longer veg time to train the plants into my trellies, but all 10 seeds germinated well and grew into healthy seedlings, so I decided to keep 8 instead of 4 plants and do 2 plants per pot --> hence the title of the diary: 2 GIRLS IN 1 CUP ... 😉😜 In my HOMEBOX Ambient R120 growtent I use four 20 liter pots filled with soil amended with BIO TABS nutrient tablets (3 tablets per 20 liter container plus 100 gram Startrex, 6 gram Mycotrex, 2 gram Bacterex) and watered it with Orgatrex (5 ml/liter water). The Bio TABS nutrients are VERY CONVENIENT, after amending the soil I only need to give pure tab-water for the rest of the cycle, which saves me a lot of time. Since the soil is self-regulating with BIO TABS I als do NOT need to measure the ph- or EC-value of my water and adjust the ph-value. No mattter what, pure tab-water is all thats needed from now on...yiiippie. During veg. (4 weeks after germination) I use two SANlight Q4W-Gen.2 LED lamps, which are dimmed to 40% (=no green light on dimmer ON) for the first to weeks and then increased to 60% (week 3) and then to 80% (week 4). At the beginning of flowering I add one Q3WL-Gen.2 in the center of my tent and increase the dimming slowly from 40% to 80% over the next few week. The spectrum and the light intensity of the SANlight LEDs are OUTSTANDING and PERFECT FOR GROWING CANNABIS! Unfortunately I didnt take any pics before week 12, therefore I described the setup here. Now in week 12 (=week 8 of flowering) all 8 plants have developed HUGE colas, which are GLISTENING with TRICHOMES and already show a BEAUTIFUL purple coloration. 😍 You can see an nice overview in the video above. The plants have a sweet smell (like cinnamon with banana) with a gassy and fuelly undertone from the Kush...simply DELICIOUS!
